I swapped out my 21” wheels/all season tires on my 2019 e-tron SUV Edition One.
I mounted winter tires (Nokian Hakkapeliitta SUV) on the pictured 20” OEM wheels.

I was impressed by the smoother ride quality on this combo of smaller wheels and these tires compared to my 21” wheels.
I have the Goodyear Eagle Sport tires (255/50R20, plenty of wear left) that were originally mounted on these rims. Now I am thinking about sticking with the smaller wheels/rims year ‘round and mounting these tires on another set of 20” rims.
I have never bought after market rims before.
Are 9J x 20 with 38mm offset, 5 bolts/112 the correct rims for these 255/50R20 tires on the 2019 e-tron? How do assure the weight specification? I have heard 1750 lbs per wheel minimum.
Any suggestions about sources in the US would be appreciated as well.

Sorry for the slight thread resurrection, but this seems like the best place to ask.

I've never bought after-market wheels before, so I would be grateful for some answers to some basic questions, please:

  • I'm assuming that because all 4 tyres on my e-tron are the same size (265/45 R21) that my current factory-fitted Audi wheels are all the same size, and not different front and back?
  • I'm assuming a width of 10.5" is correct?
  • If I stick to the current width of 10.5", is there anything to worry about if I upgrade to 22" inch wheels from 21" (like rubbing)?
  • How do I know what offset and PCD I need?
  • Do wheels need to be specifically rated for EV's or does it not matter?

Many thanks!

I'm a big fan of how the e-Tron SUV looks on these 22x10.5 Vossen HF-2 but what other wheels and sizes look as good as this?
