Audi revealed the Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron today. With pricing from under $45,000 in the U.S. before tax incentives, up to 250 miles of range (40 e-tron) and all the usual Audi luxury, it's well positioned to rival the Tesla Model Y and others in the compact electric SUV segment.

Audi's latest e-tron also has other things to look forward to and we have them covered here.
  1. Three drivetrain options, one of them is a Quattro model.
The base Q4 35 e-tron comes equipped with a 52-kWh battery, single motor and RWD setup. Above that is the 40 e-tron with a standard 77-kWh battery and also RWD but produces 201 hp over the 35’s 167 hp rating. Torque remains unchanged at 228 lb.ft.

If that’s not enough, get the Q4 50 e-tron Quattro model capable of producing almost 300 hp and 340 lb.ft of torque thanks to its dual-motor setup powered by the same 77-kWh battery in the 40 e-tron. For another $7,000 you can get this 50 e-tron Edition One model while they last.

  2. Up to 250 miles of range.
In WLTP testing the Q4 40 e-tron achieved 520 km of range. Audi expects the EPA-estimate to be around 250-miles. It’s the highest rating of any Q4 e-tron model.

Next is the 50 e-tron Quattro that gets up to 497 km and finally the 35 e-tron within the 340 km range.

  3. DC fast-charging up to 125 kW
Under ideal temperature conditions when hooked up to a DC fast-charger, Audi says the Q4 e-tron can be at 80% state-of-charge in under 40 minutes. Audi will be providing some free charging at Electrify America stations where fast-charging is an option. Slower 11 kW AC charging is standard and what most owners will use at home.

  4. The latest technology.
Audi is stepping up its interior tech with the augmented reality head-up display, a driver-focused 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment screen in the center and a 10.3-inch instrument cluster, all of which feature the latest of what Audi has to offer.

  5. Priced from $45,000
In the U.S. pricing will start from $45,000 for the Q4 40 e-tron and EUR 41,900 in Germany for the Q4 35 e-tron before tax incentives. These along with the 50 e-tron will be available as a coupe-like Sportback model.

Closer to June 2021 when the Q4 e-tron goes on sale in Europe and the later half of 2021 for the United States is when we can expect full pricing details
