Perhaps you may be one of the lucky few who will get a glimpse of the Audi e-tron prototype while it’s roaming around the streets of Geneva from March 5th to the 6th.
Ahead of its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show, Audi will be taking the e-tron prototype around the Geneva city center and they’re urging fans to take pictures of it and post them on social media platforms using the #etron hashtag. Audi has even released a map of the daily path it’ll take along with specific times.
Of course the near-production prototype is still hidden under a layer of camouflage, but bystanders will have to chance to see it live and up close, maybe even listen for the lack of exhaust notes. There are even short clips and an interview with Jens van Eikels, one of the developer of the e-tron, on
Audi’s news page. There, we’re given a closer look at the e-tron’s proportions and those distinctive taillights that stretches across the tailgate.
Fans first saw the E-Tron Quattro concept back in 2015 and it was powered by three electric motors with a combined output of around 430hp. We’ll soon find out if the production model is just as capable when the company’s press conference takes place this week.
