I received a message on my Audi app to say my Etron 2020 55 needed a software update due to a battery software fault, Campaign 93HV.
I took it to my local Audi dealer and they said it would take one day to carry out the update. At the end of the day they said they had a problem with the update and needed to keep the car a second day. Then another telephone call said that the update had caused problems with one of the battery cells and they could no longer start the car.
it is now going to another Audi centre on a trailer were technicians with higher level training are going to attempt to repair the problem!
I read about this update causing problems earlier in the year but presumed by now those issues had been resolved, evidently not. Are there others out there who have had similar problems with this update and have they been resolved.

I got this about a month ago on my 2019 e-tron 55. The app notified me too. It's not due to a fault, though, it's because Audi have improved the battery software. The range of my car was consistently about 10-15% higher on a 100% charge every time I charged it after the update.

I had to leave it with the Audi dealer for the day for them to perform the update, which went without any problems, so sorry to hear about yours!

Coincidentally, I traded the car in recently for my new 2024 Q8 e-tron Sportback, but I like to think whoever buys my previous e-tron will benefit from the software update.

Yeah, the MyAudi app notification was pretty persistent, and the Audi dealer didn't even question me booking my car in for it (and they're not the most clued-up dealer). Makes you wonder what it was really about. If it was a "nice to have" software update, I'm sure the dealer would charge for it? Maybe it was due to an error after all.

I had the software update a couple of months back, went smoothly. Am halfway across Australia at the moment (8,500km into a 14,000km road trip). The range is a very clear 15% improvement, which has been great for this trip. Typical range at 100% is now 360km (at the trip average consumption of 25kWh/100km), very happy with the extra range !

I have a 21 /55 . I had the update as well. (Had no choice apparently?) Since getting it, my battery doesn't charge as many miles as it used to at 10-15% less charge, contrary to what others are stating. Also had some glitches. Taking it back in but am concerned about the outcome.
