Tesla never had me. I never found their cars to be visually appealing and decided to leave it at that. Fortunately that helped me avoid some of the horrendous build quality issues, did you Tesla suffer from any of them?
I could look past the exterior looks. The interior and the single screen to rule them all is what got me running away from these cars. I am also not religious as far as technology is concerned, and I do not kiss the ground Musk walks on. Plenty of reasons to stay away. That also the fact that the test unit I drove had squeaky plastics with 5k miles on it. Made me wonder what would squeak in it at 20k or 50k.
My build quality was fine, in that it was what they intended for it to be. No squeaks or rattles or anything like that of note.
But it was loud inside, the seats were uncomfortable, the lack of real buttons for climate and other major stuff was annoying (Audi is starting to trend this way too and I don't like it), the lack of CarPlay was infuriating, and I hate the Ikea minimalist interior trend.
Exterior styling isn't really a concern for me. I'm on the inside, that's what I've gotta look at. Plus I drive an SUV now and they're all ugly one way or another.

My original Model S was fine. Good build quality, no rattles, minimal issues. Driving was a bit noisy, and "sporty" steering and ride. I drove it for 135,000 KM. When I went to test drive a new refreshed S, Y, and X, they all had ultra-minimalist interiors. It looked and felt cheap. It's an interior for Millennials/Gen Z. Go ahead and call me a boomer.....
I like a lot of things about Tesla: Speed, tech, a working App, Superchargers, range, OAS updates, good UI, Rangers (and my build quality was good) . Their comfort, and ride need improvement. I hate their interiors. PS, I can't stand the yoke steering wheel, either.
The e-tron is a great car. There's some notable shortcomings in the way of range (which I think Audi should let us have even more of the battery to use) and the MMI. But all said, it's a terrific car. Where Audi and all other brands lose me is the DCFC network. Superchargers are terrific, everything else just kinda sucks. I would never roundtrip in my e-tron and keep an ICE car as a result.

I guess it depends where you are driving. Boston to Orlando and back was a piece of cake in an e-tron.
It wouldn't be if you wanted to avoid I95 via I81 > I77.

I nearly bought a GT from the dealer in Chattanooga TN. Tried to plan the route back to VA and it was simply too risky for my tolerance. For me, I don't consider 50kw a viable option (unless emergency) on a road trip. So I will continue to use ICE for travelling.
