A few days ago BMW, Daimler, Volkswagen, and Ford have announced their collaboration to build the biggest EV charging stations network in Europe called IONITY. That should be a great thing for the current fast increase in EV market and for e-tron line as well. By 2020 they plan to have 400 stations around Europe. So now Audi joins huge automotive companies to support the growth of charging stations for electric car owners. Other automakers have been invited to join the initiative, so it will be interesting to see which companies jump on board.
What do you think about it?

Good for Audi and this is more incentive for each of those companies to come out with more electric vehicles, which is good for us. NOw they need to expand outside of Europe.
I guess it's too early to think about the globalization of the Ionity. They set the goal to have 400 stations around Europe by 2020 and I think that they will make this happen first... after that, they will probably try to conquer other parts of the world.

Where ever you live, expect this to be something announced with your local government because its that big of a deal. Big enough that even government services will be using it as well. Plus we're living during a time where anything this big in the eco-friendly landscape goes mainstream.

Do you mean that sooner or later we will see the same EV charging stations concept offered by the government? I'm not sure that it's gonna be on the same level as Ionity, but still, it's better than nothing.

Lol you underestimate the government power, they may come up with a waaay better charging station network than Ionity, they have more resources for it.
