Autocar has posted up a first impressions review of the E-Tron and they seem to have come away impressed. They not only reference its elegant design but also how refined the driving experience is. Most importantly it still feels like an Audi, which is most noticeable inside the cabin, which conforms to the standards that you'd expect from the brand. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-review/audi/e-tron

flexibility, is the key here that we benefit from, without Audi would be limiting themselves. can't wait to try Boost mode for myself.

Will be interested to learn more about the new standards that the E-Tron is setting in regards to driving mechanics in an EV. We should be getting some head to head performance tests in the coming weeks.

Jaguar's new I-Pace seems to have dethroned the Model X in all the performance tests that I've seen. This is looking to be the new benchmark that Audi, BMW, MB will have to beat.

Performance does little to help regular people buy. What helps is knowing their favorite brand now is part of the next big revolution in the auto sector.

Specs matter, particularly on newer EV's. Sure 0-60 times might not be a big factor, but useable real world electric range will be.

That will depend on lifestyles of individual owners and should be advertised as such as secondary information to see how it fits into their life.

Charging times are a consideration as well, but many of the new premium electric offerings are promising 80% in as little as 40 minutes. That should continue to decrease as the amperage of superchargers continues to rise.
