Camera recall

I was notified several weeks ago that the Q6 was being recalled to address the camera or cameras in the vehicle. After cancelled appointments resulting from the dealer not getting access to the necessary parts, I finally had an appointment to get it fixed on August 26. The installation of the hardware was completed that day, but i was advised that the dealer was awaiting technical assistance from Audi to get the new system up and running. (Software???). Last week, I escalated my concerns about the fact that the vehicle had still not been fixed to the Audi Customer Care organization. As of tomorrow morning, my car will have been sitting at the dealer for two weeks, with no indication from either the dealer or corporate when it will be fixed. If you plan to have your vehicle in for this recall, make sure you get written confirmation from the dealer that they actually have the parts, tools and technical assistance necessary to ge the repair completed in a timely manner. It is absolutely absurd that the second largest automaker in the world can't properly serve those customers that have made a commitment to them. Any suggestions are welcome.
