I'm not sure what you mean by 2020 model. Audi did not release an model line SUV in the US (even though it did in Europe) in 2020. You may be referring to the Sportback, which was released in 2020, but is based on the 2019 line. The 2019 models had a charging port ONLY on the drivers side. I understand that the 2021 models come with charging ports on both sides, the drivers side for AC and DC and the passengers side for AC only. For future reference, all the new model E Trons that Audi is now planning (eg the Q4) have the charging port on the Drivers side rear fender.
You are correct it is the 2020 Sportback model.

I’ve read various things about charging while traveling but haven’t found definitive info about using Tesla Rapid chargers with the adapter for the E-Tron? Can a Tesla account be setup and rapid charging be used or am I limited in speed of charge for non-Tesla autos?

Charge cover door release button - anyone had these fail? Earlier today it wouldn't release the charge cable. After umpteen attempts it eventually did. Now it won't open to allow me to plug it in. I suspect it's the button that's playing up. The cover on the other side works fine.
I actually had a terrible issue with my first e-Tron. 2021 prestige Sportback The port doors were wonky. Then the passenger side port wouldn’t register a charge. I even tried it in a 110 circuit. The car went back to the dealership. the port wouldn’t release the charger. The dealership tried the pull emergency release and managed to pull the cords out.
so back to the dealership. The car managed to be at the dealership over three weeks. Oh, I had the car one day. the car was seen by a tech specialist they sent. Parts ordered. It worked once then died. The car was at two different dealerships for this issue After a somewhat lengthy discussion with Audi USA and the dealership. They swapped out the car for a better one. The new one came with black optical package, better leather seating and everything included. So Audi did come through in the end for me. I’m pleased with the new 2021 Prestige Glacier White ,black interior.
I told them I did not want a car that has electrical issues from the start. I wanted my money back or a new car. Happy ending to say the least. Just frustrating and lots of angst.
lean into the dealership. Audi USA said it is up to them to make it right.

I have an E-tron 55 2019 and a week ago after I had charged it on the passenger side, the charge port wouldn´t close. I had to close it by forcing it by hand. At the same time the other charge port on the drivers side wouldn´t open when you press the button. Also the charge indicator LED went dark when I charge the car.
Today suddenly it started working again on both sides! I already have an appointment at the Audi dealer to fix the problem. But now then the problem went away should I still go to the dealer?
I´m a bit nervous the the problems occur again then I take a long journey.
