Customer Experience Gift Voucher

Has anyone had experience with using a gift voucher from Audi Customer Experience? I received a $3000 voucher for the ongoing issues we have been experiencing with our Q6; however the voucher states: "Voucher can be used toward the specified VIN for products and/or services offered by the dealership, including parts, accessories, vehicle maintenance and/or repairs, mobility, vehicle detailing, or Audi Collection merchandise. Voucher is for one-time use. If the full amount of the voucher is not utilized, any remaining balance will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for future use."

What am I supposed to spend $3,000 on at the dealership for a car that is under warranty? I've already spent $800 on floor mats and a cargo cover, so I don't have any need for accessories. On a side note, how are all weather floor mats and cargo privacy cover not standard in an $80K vehicle? BMW included them at no cost in my i4.

Audi Customer Experience said I could use it for my lease payments, but there's no way to redeem it on my Audi Financial account. Has anyone else received a voucher from Audi and used it to cover payments?

Too bad it wasn’t an ebay gift card. They tied your hands since they are containing the funds within their organization. Best you can do is buy Audi merchandise and then sell it at least getting some cash out of it.

I wonder if this was a random gift ? If they don’t extend this to all Q6 customers I can see the resentment this could cause. Not a great PR move in my opinion.

This is an incredible story. I don't know how much grief you had to go through, but they should have sent you a check and only if the amount was satisfactory to you.

I bought my Q6 Sportback Premium Plus 37 days ago. The car gave me safety errors on my drive home from purchase. I immediately went back to the dealer and they said "oh, your car is just learning your driving habits. Give it a while". Well, my mistake was believing them and driving the car home! My car, on start
gives me 9 safety system errors. See attached. They kept my car for 3 days. They have ordered parts which are backordered. I asked if I can drive my car since they did not give me a loaner. Here is the response from the Service Advisor, "The car is ok to drive Only if you do not rely on the safety systems. It will not leave you stranded, mechanically everything functions, the safety systems do not work. If you rely on the safety systems i do not recommend you drive the vehicle."

Well I have only driven sparingly the past month (280 miles total).

I'd be curious to hear about the initial quality concerns of others. This has been a total mess and $3000 sure wouldn't do it for me!!

Of all the Safety features offered, to me the Side Assist (blind spot detection), back up camera, and front sensors are essential. Do you have access to those? To me, the car's design has sight-lines that assume you will have these features.

So they are basically saying “Drive at your own risk”. Here’s how I feel about it. Even if you did not get those warnings the Audi safety systems won’t save your bacon because they are not that good to begin with.

But I would really be concerned about the “Protective Occupant Protection” warning. Unless you make your passenger sign a waiver. 😳

I hope the buy back goes well. Let us know, please. Did you need a lemon law attorney or did Audi take responsibility? I have been waiting for 8 days for an initial response from the case manager at Audi. All I got was an email from her 5 days ago saying she would call within 48 hours. It is so frustrating to see my new car still sitting idle in my garage for 41 days now.
