Digital Light Signatures too dim to see

Am I missing something here? Audi touts the Digital Light Signatures (picking which DRL pattern you want) so much that they have a commercial just for that! It's a cool little personalization touch. But what I find is that whatever you set it to, they are too dim to even see. The brightness of the central DRL light bar is drowning out whatever pattern you set. During the day, you pretty much can't see the pattern chosen.

Is this normal, or should it be brighter? Or is the light signature really only for nighttime when the DRL intensity lowers?

I agree. The digital light signature is useless / too dim during the day. 2023 prestige here.

The reason the Digital Signature Lights or DRL’s are so dim here in the US and prob Canada is because of regulations. In Europe they are the same brightness as the center sequential light bar. It’s suppose to make incoming drivers see you better when signaling. It’s just silly that Audi brags about the customization of the DRL’s to the choosing of 4 options but here in the US they’re really pointless since they are so dim that you hardly see them..I’m trying to figure out how to make them brighter by adjusting the adaptation channels using OBDeleven dongle but haven’t figured it out yet. I did this on my 2020 VW Tiguan and Aldo got rid of the stupid so called “wink” too
