I added oem puddle lights with the 4 rings. I also added the red led to the sides (purchased from aliexpress). They look great. Super easy install. They all just pop out with a screw driver. A coat a hanger and some tape to fish the adapter wires. Front doors i inserted the coat hanger then taped the wire and pulled back out. Rear doors I taped the wire on and pushed.

Finally I added cheapo “quattro” pudddle lights to the rear doors. They don’t come close to comparing to the oem. Recommend you just go oem if thinking of adding. They were also from aliexpress andaround $15. Lots cheaper than Oem but look super cheap and shiney imo.

Over time, the paint will come off and you will have very nice light chips all around. I did that on my Q5 back in the day, hoping for a good effect. After 6-7 months, I had to rip them out and put OEM ones. These are still in the car with very minor light leakage over the course of 4 years now. I would not recommend saving on these,
