It has been confirmed by Audi, the new e-tron electric SUV will debut on August 30 at the second annual Audi Summit event, which takes place in Brussels. Guess they chose the location because the coupe-like version of the e-tron Sportback will be built at their plant in Brussels. It's going too be a long wait for us.

Wonder if Audi plans on making any changes to the pricing considering its already been found to deliver less range than what was first projected. Can't be charging premium prices without providing premium performance. I do like that they have already indicated that they will be building 200 high power charging stations by the end of the year.

Fundamentally EV's are great for performance, instead they need to make this a well rounded vehicle that at the same time is a showcase of all Audi has to offer. Of course it just can't be anything on a flagship level

Well they aren't exactly showing all Audi has to offer, by providing less than all direct competitors. Especially considering that this car is rumored to be pretty close to the $100k mark. I just feel like there is more value to be found from the competition, and at this point your paying more for a badge.

Badge is what it comes down to for the most part. At the end of the day every car maker have reasons why people choose their products over another and I don't see that changing with EV's

Even if they price it similarly to the Model X, there will definitely be Audi fans willing to drop that kind of money just for its nameplate. I do think the price point is hard to swallow considering what Jaguar is offering with the new I-Pace, but a lot of people are still convinced that the brand suffers from reliability concerns.

reliability concerns go away when its the only barrier to owning some of the latest and greatest in automotive technology
the higher up you shop the more true that is as options open.
yeah it will suck to not have your $150k Luxury EV for days at a time but when it means a dealer offers a level of service to where you're not inconvenienced, its almost a non-issue.
