I purchased my e-tron in December of last year. Just discovered that I was supposed to have received a 6 month trial of the upgraded "connect" with the google maps, etc. I called the dealer and they advised I drive to see them and they can hook it up for me. After several attempts, and the app and website having problems, we gave up. Called customer service today and they were no help. Transferred me to tech support and after waiting on hold for 20 minutes, I hear the dreaded robotic "goodbye" and was disconnected.
I was told to delete the app and reinstall it. But cannot access it now with my user name and password. Locked out.
What should I do? Give up? Attempt to register a new email and start over?
Beyond frustrating for a car I adore so much.

I honestly tried to get that to work, gave up and switches to using Android auto - way better, has all my preferences and it works 100% of times. I know it is not a solution but we pretty much all have smartphones anyway these days. Might as well use them.
