Hello everyone,

Just here to learn about the e-tron as more information is leaked. Currently, Tesla models are still sitting at the top as far as performance goes for electric vehicles, but it'll be interesting to see other automakers like Audi step up to the plate. Competition does drive innovation and who wouldn't want more options to choose from?

Perhaps the Audi E-tron will be my first EV, the e-tron quattro concept has certainly piqued my interest.

Welcome to the forum.

We're getting closer to some big autoshows and that could mean new information for us depending on where Audi is on development of the e-tron. I hope we hear/see something even if its some hints/teasers.

Well there's the upcoming Geneva show and i believe there's one in New York too, so hopefully Audi will let some information leak at one of those events. With them taking orders already, it should mean the E-Tron is close to completion.

Yeah pre-orders do suggest a production ready model, so I'm not sure why they haven't revealed anything. Don't know how many people would be interested in placing a pre order for something thats only been seen in concept, with no real world testing.

Sometimes pre-orders are just to get your spot in line. Very often pre-order deposits are refundable, so its a no obligation method to get one before it even shows up at dealerships. Put that way its easy to see why we haven't seen a single picture of the E-Tron
