So it turns out that Audi could very well be releasing a small crossover version of the e-tron SUV we already saw. The $75k USD price tag did put me off and to be honest its well beyond my means. Something smaller and cheaper was always on my wish list and within the next couple months we could see it bow at the Geneva Motor Show. $45k seems like a sweet spot for electric crossovers from premium brands like Audi and a price i'm willing to pay of course.

I also managed to find some baby e-tron renderings in case some visuals help to make sense of it. Enjoy!

Its hard to tell the differences in proportions over the full-size model from this rendering, but this makes sense. Will a smaller platform also mean a smaller battery pack as they have less floor space to work with? Is the wheelbase unchanged?

The modular architecture of Audi's new electrics should mean the exact same battery pack can be used in this smaller model. It might just mean less frunt/boot space, which comes with a smaller body style anyways.

Lexus has been seeing a decent amount of interest with the new UX, but I think a good part of that has to do with it being offered under their subscription service. There been any mentions of Audi expanding their Audi Select service?
