If you were hoping for an e-Tron S or RS, these spy shots all but confirm its arrival.
Performance specifications are few but around 100hp more in boost mode is reasonable, an increase typically seen with other Audi models.

e-Tron RS pricing should start around $96,000.

I'm skeptical about how an electric RS Audi will feel. Will it be as lively and enjoyable? I'm not completely sold.
VW Group owns Porsche and Audi, among many others, and Porsche is committed to making the Taycan drive and feel every bit as Porsche fans been used to all these years. Safe to say that will be the case with Audi. What specific concerns do you have about its driving characteristics?

Does The Electric Taycan Feel Like A Real Porsche?
In just four months’ time, the long-awaited Porsche Taycan will premiere at the Frankfurt Auto Show. but before that happens, a handful of media members have had the opportunity to ride shotgun in prototypes.

This clip from ThomasGeigerCar, saw the YouTuber jump into the passenger seat of the Taycan. Despite not having the opportunity to drive the car, he seems pretty impressed with the vehicle which Porsche has produced, even though some final touches are still being made before customer deliveries commence next year.

It is well known that a number of different Taycan derivatives will be produced. The range-topping model, expected to be dubbed the ‘Turbo’, will allegedly deliver around 600 hp. This should be enough to accelerate the all-wheel drive electric sedan to 100 km/h (62 mph) in the low-3 second range. Additionally, this model is expected to have a top speed of roughly 250 km/h (155 mph) and should be capable of traveling in excess of 500 km (311 miles) on a single charge.

One of the most important features of the Taycan will be its use of an 800-volt electrical system which means plugging it into a charger for just four minutes should add about 100 km (62 miles) of range.

Porsche has put the Taycan through a rigorous development programme and tested the car in more than 30 countries in temperatures ranging between minus 35 degrees Celsius and plus 50 degrees Celsius (-31 to 122 degrees Farenheit). Approximately 6 million kilometres (3.7 million miles) of testing has been done.
