LTE SIM??

Hi @Chilternflyer Did you get anywhere with this? I received my Q4 etron yesterday to find the exact same issue, constantly shows 3G and therefore will not connect to myAudi. Spoke with webchat who suggested rebooting the MMI (didn’t work) and then confirmed it was the LTE that was the problem, advising to take to dealership. I’ve just contacted the dealership prior to turning up who sounded less than enthused in being able to fix the issue. It doesn’t seem a ‘known’ issue on their part. I’m going to attend the dealership regardless but just wondering if you’d had any success?
Had exactly the same issue with mine. Same response from Audi too and then for an unknown reason it started working. It’s just died again, 4 months since I took delivery. Glad it’s a lease car? Absolute crock of sh**

I have the same problem as above. It’s curiously the end of the month again so my first thought was server congestion. Audi have been worse than useless - enough to prevent me every owning one again (this is leased).
Audi dealer cannot look at the vehicle until September (not that they’d be able to do anything anyway) so they suggested roadside assistance. Guy just turns up and says he can only deal with breakdowns. VWAG specialist apparently coming tomorrow. I’ve tried the SOS button and did get through and then made my apologies.
I’m going to try the fuse fix.

Here's my update.
I am based in UK if it is of any relevance.
So I had the same issue as others where LTE had suddenly dropped out and couldn't be recovered.
I had 3G and my Audi app couldn't connect to vehicle. Audi were of course utterly useless.
I tried the fuse thing above and that didn't work.

Luckily I have an enquiring and observant mind and I noticed my PRIVACY SETTINGS were enabled.
Underneath privacy you have 3 options to enable/disable vehicle position etc etc (can't remember them all).

I looked at this and thought this must be having an effect so I tried to DISABLE my privacy except when I slid the radio button OFF, it slid itself back to ON so I couldn't disable.

I then created a new local guest user in the MMI.
Same thing......Privacy was defaulted to ENABLED so I tried disabling it under the guest user profile.
This time I was able to DISABLE and seconds after, hey presto LTE lights up.
When I enabled privacy again, 3G comes on and LTE goes off.

I logged back into MMI as Key User (Me) and tried to repeat but under my user the privacy wouldn't let me disable it.

To resolve I deleted myself as key user, re-added myself as key-user (logging in with usual credentials) and this time I could disable privacy.

One other thing I had also done (as requested by Audi) was to delete the Audi app and re-install. I did this before I removed myself as Key User in MMI.

Hope this helps.....obviously Audi have introduced a bug somehow.

Can confirm pulling fuses 19&20 worked for me. Didn’t work on first try, flicked on and off between LTE and 3G and then stuck on 3G, second try worked a charm and still working 4 days later. Don’t know if carrying out this procedure would work best in a location where LTE reception stronger. I also deleted and reinstalled the app as advised in various forums, but that makes no sense to me as to why that would work. Fingers crossed it keeps working…. Thanks for the help with fuses!!

Not sure if that was me inserting the quote multiple times so apologies if it was. I had some issues replying on the iPhone.
The fuses didn't work for me per my earlier post.
I wonder if the fuses are a red herring and in fact the cause of the problem is this weird Privacy Settings bug Audi seem to have where Privacy gets enabled and kills LTE and any other communication. That is what enabling Privacy should do.

So I wonder if pulling the fuses actually resets the Privacy to disabled?
Just a thought.
