Nicely done!
Do you mostly drive in Comfort or Efficiency?
I saw an average of 40 mile trip of 3.5 mi/kWh today and was mildly impressed as I figure anything over 3 is great.

Yes mostly in comfort, also I use manual regeneration, shame they have that option , as I don’t see the point in not having it on all the time.
Yeah, why doesn't it default to automatic regen? That seems very odd since that is one of their marketing highlights.

Interesting point. When I set to auto regen, just seems to run without. No idea how it’s meant to work when on.

Hmmm. I've seen autoregen work but also it seems to be when in cruise or coming up on other cars
In the GT regen via the brake pedal is turned off for the first few hundred miles to allow the brake pads to get seated. After that ALL car slowing is by regen unless you do a full hard press on the brake pedal to engage the mechanical brake.
It doesn't matter how I drive and on what roads or mode, I can't get better than 2.8 miles per Kw and 230 miles at 100%
Charging speed has never been over 187kwh despite adequate low state of charge and heat in the battery.

Have you used the NAV to direct you to the charging station? That enables battery conditioning on the way. In many cases, to get the highest charging speeds, the battery needs to be COOLED.

Cool. Good to know.
Do you know the exact miles it switches to automatic as default? I'm at 200 miles and it still defaults to manual on startup.
I think it is for the first 250 miles, but I have read posts where it has been reported as longer.
Mine is a Nov '22 build, delivered in January with 64 miles on the clock. It has always defaulted to auto regen. Maybe the default is specific to the market.

I always switched to manual regen immediately and used efficiency mode if driving any distance. That usually gave me between 2.4 and 2.7 m/kWh. Prompted by other shared experiences here, I started leaving the car in auto regen and comfort. My efficiency improved to 3.1 m/kWh.

Yesterday I took a 100 mile round trip starting in auto, but selecting efficiency. Traveling 10 miles at 75mph outbound and a brief spell at 85, I was more restrained on the return journey, when I got to 4.2 m/kWh, before taking to dual carriageways for the last 30 miles. On arrival, I had averaged 3.7 m/kWh. Very encouraging.

Today, I travelled 40 miles over similar roads, again in efficiency with Auto regen. Staying below 65 mph I was expecting great things, but only just managed to get to 3.1 m/kWh at the end of the journey. Strange. Today was 17C (I don't know what that is in 'Old money'), but it's 3C cooler than yesterday. Perhaps that's a factor.

I probably shouldn't stress. 3.1 will do, so I'll probably stick to comfort and auto from now on.

Wow! 4.2 mi/kwh?? That is outrageous. Were you going downhill both ways?

Yes every time.
