Thanks. I saw last year's but couldn't understand why they removed ventilated seats and HUD. Very frustrating although a HUD seems to be standard on the Vorsprung, not sure I could live with those new wheels

Yes, if you look at most of the options they are removing, you can see that most would be infrequently requested. It was the ventilated seats that I will miss, but the sports seats do look good! Hopefully I can get mine ordered for Mar 21, fingers crossed.I think the new wheels look fine. I suspect they're pushing that style because they're more aerodynamic and efficient.
It sounds like Audi are simplify their model line up and options list across the board, retiring options that aren't popular. It undoubtedly makes operations easier and cheaper!
It was an option before 2020 about 800GBPish. I was thinking about getting them as well. As if you are buying a car of this cost and this quality, some of the extras increase in the luxury feel. The wheels I can always use for winter tyres and get a new set. If you wanted night vision (not me) you can add that for about 800 after the order, but the seats would be very hard to change.I have always wondered about the massage sets, Its one thing I always miss not having.. I did not think it was an option on the E-tron at all? I will be a bit annoyed as I would have taken it had I known but the dealer said no option ? maybe its not available here in the UK?
No idea why the heated steering wheel is not available on the UK edition either when I purchased my Launch Edition. It was an option before 2020 about 800GBPish. It would most likely depend if it meets the spec attached earlier. I would doubt it though. The big one (like the 2016 A6) is the improved multimedia.I have an order for a UK 50 Technik with a build slot for week commencing 13th July 2020. Anyone know if this will be MY2021? The new wireless phone integration would be nice!
This is very useful, thank you!Someone shared this on speakev.com and I thought people here would find it interesting.
I noticed the same. Did not think it would be a useful option until it came with a previous car and found it was good for low back pain!I have always wondered about the massage sets, Its one thing I always miss not having.. Thank you for clarifyingNo the UK Etron does not have massage seats as an option, its to do with the battery management and the effect it has one the range. However it is available in the USA on the prestige trim.
Even the seats on the Vorsprung Trim (does not have massage seats.
Vorsprung is the most luxurious and technologically advanced version of the e-tron available in the UK.
- Super sport seats with diamond stitching
- Heated front & rear. No massage option.
That's the difference - they're standard on some trim levels, but there's no option to put HUD on, say, an S-Line. It simplifies production. However they are all standard on the Vorsprung Trim and I have a build date of week 47, on my order they are all present and more.
Agree!!I really wish they would of just added back the massage seats too, it is really frustrating even on the top trim (In the UK) they are not an option.
