I noticed the MyAudi app hasn't been able to update my vehicle status for the last few days. Anyone else have this issue? I'm wondering if this is an Audi server issue or an isolated issue. I tried calling the customer service line but was on hold too long and gave up.

I don't know how they are pulling this off, but judging from the comments, it's like they are manually updating the service car by car. 🤣🤷‍♂️ Can someone confirm?

Just for reference, this has been reported multiple times and it seems to disable (partially) the vehicle status and will fix itself after a couple of days.

I’m experiencing the same thing. The app is unable to communicate to my car and won’t update. And it’s already been one (1) week . I have removed and reinstalled the MyAudi app. But no luck there. I’ve emailed Audi several times. But no response as of yet. WTF! 😬

I finally got a hold of the Audi Connect rep this morning. They had to submit a tech support. Who knows how long it'll take. Probably going to a black hole. Pretty frustrating...
Well, I’m glad you were able to get a hold of them. At least we know its on their end. And not with our vehicles. So it’s a waiting game from here. Thanks Grayblack for the update.🤙🏾

I have the same issue. I reported it to the service dept of my dealer. They said they'd fix it remotely in 2-5 days. It's now been 9 days. Nada.
I'm glad it worked for you. I searched the myAudi app issues among the different forums.

Haven't had any updates since Jul 10. I finally went nuclear, lol. I deleted the car from the app and my audi, deleted key user. Redid it all, and it started working. I am very nervous about deleting key user and vehicle though, because back in November the app basically became a brick and all functionality disappeared from the app, and the car wouldn't let me delete the key user, etc... and for a few months I had nothing. then magically around march or so, it just started working again. :-( But I gambled and it paid off... lol.

Lol I hear you there. For my 2019SUV when ever the App starts to not update, I pretty much assume the problem is on Audi's end. I'll wait at least a couple of weeks before dealing with logging out/in, reinstalling the app, logging out on MMI, etc. After all, if the Audi Cloud is having problems, then that is not the time to play around with trying to connect with it from my end. Trying a reboot of the MMI is a reasonable step. A LOT of patience to me is still the best first step.

I am the CIO of a large enterprise. There is nothing about this that is right. All of it is easily correctible. Creating a reliable mobile app and supporting underlying infrastructure is neither hard nor particularly expensive these days. There's really only two believable or defensible reasons for this to be a continuing problem. 1) Audi does not consider IT (and connected OT) to be an important discriminator and are making investments in time, people and $$ according to that misguided belief or 2) they have limited/paused additional investments into fixing the current poor-performing platform as a fundamental modernization/transformation is underway so all their attention and investment is focused there.

I'm not so sure that Audi and the VW Group has "limited/paused" additional investments. I think it is more likely they initially underestimated what it would take to achieve their goals early on in the EV introduction (by trying to tack on the much greater requirements for EVs onto the existing MyAudi app) and THEN they compounded the problem by biting off WAY more than they could chew: 2019MY to 2020MY introduction of new MMI OS platform and hardware along with cars (heavily software dependent) produced on an expanding array of EV platforms---initially MLB-evo, then MEB, J1, PPE.

Has anyone taken a look at the Rivian EV's? Now that is technology, would seem to be at least on par with Tesla if not better. Yes, it's a new company so it's early but the technology side is absolutely amazing (great vehicles too). Audi really missed the mark.

And then a miracle happen…..yesterday I was trying to charge my 2022 etron GT via my home charger, and the MyAudi app wouldn’t show that it was plugged in and charging. I thought something was wrong with the charging process, then I thought it was something with the car to app communication, and was panicked that I was having maintenance issues just before I needed to go out of town. With some detective work, I could see on the dash screen that the car was charging, and also the Electrify America app showed it as charging. So I determined that it was just the car to MyAudi app connectivity issue. This morning the app reported that it had regained connectivity at around 1:00 am, and updated itself. So I think it’s a Audi cloud/server issue. I have the same problem occasionally with my home generator which is also connected to the internet. Hopefully it really is an Audi cloud/server issue rather than my etron GT going bad. Now I can go on my trip.

Yes, I did. We left a couple messages at the dealer, first with the salesperson who had been helping explain the vehicles features to us and then with the sales manager, but after a week no response. That's when I called MyAudi support.

Hi all - Is anyone having issues lately with the Charge Planning section of the app? Mine will not allow me to toggle between "immediate" and "timed" charging anymore. It's greyed out. I also cannot change the target level of the charging.

Thanks!

In fact it reverted back to not working.

I've noticed this before after trying other fixes like logging out/in etc, however the fact that it appears to work is nothing to do with the logout. I've now realised that there's a short period of time (1 minute?) after locking the car with keyfob, when the Myaudi app is able to successfully control all aspects of the car. After this period, the usual errors start to happen again.

I've reported this in my ticket with Audi Digital Services and await their response.

Once again this forum comes up trumps. My audi app stopped syncing with phone. I had tocket open for two months ‘with highest escalation’ but zero progress from tech team. I read this thread and removed myself as key user and then added myself back on as if new. This fixed the issue imnediately. I called Audi digital team back and told them to add thus to the troubleshooting manuals as wasnt anything they suggested. So nice one gang. Top marks again ;)

note that if you have lost the card or keyring with details to re-add yourself as keyuser as i had, the helpful people on the myAudi helpline will ask you to share over video call your V05 (car reg doc) form as proof of ownership and passport and they’ll set you back up. 👍🏽

I have the same issue. The dealer told me that it's a known issue with the latest software update for some of the earlier models.
