For the last 5 days the MyAudi app has not been able to communicate with my GT. Over the last 4 days i have been getting this message about 10 minutes into my 40 minute drive to work.

Has anyone had this issue before? I've had a day or two in the past where the MyAudi app could not connect, but this seems like it is lasting longer and i'm thinking it is related to this error message.

Yes, I have been having the same problem. Mine will not update on my Audi Connect phone app either. I can't even start a charging session for electrifyamerica. I dont have any of my internet radio stations, and the wifi in the car is not working. I have called the Audi Connect line on 3 different occasions, and waited on line over 1 and 1/2 hours and be hung up on twice. I have called my dealership and they are no help either. If there is a mass outage, why can't they a message upfront on the phone prompt and stop waisting our time? Audi is not handling this properly. I really regret buying an Audi, because I have had so many problems with this car, and no one at Audi seems to give a ****.

I have no connectivity issues currently, I am in MD.
I had this issue when I did not realize my subscription lapsed.
My subscription lapsed 6-8 weeks ago (to audi connect). You should still be able to use the app to charge your car, pre heat or pre cool the cabin, lock/unlock the doors etc though without an audi connect subscription, no? I had been doing for those 6-8 weeks without a problem. Only thing was i didn't have satellite view on the maps, but i use Carplay anyway. i probably use 1% of what audi connect offers, and that's because carplay is better at everything else. i have no incentive to buy the subscription.

I had similar network issues for approx 10 days (started around 6th of Sept). No wifi hotspot, MyAudi app unable to access or locate vehicle, and the annoying network pop up notifications...Decided to turn data off completely after that as I rather just use wireless Android Auto.

Friday the 16th, I tried turning data back on and everything worked. Had to re-add key user as I previously deleted it while trying to figure out the network issue. So mine is working now and I'm in Texas.

Last week, I finally got through to Audi customer service. They apparently had all kinds of technical specialists checking into this problem. Nobody could figure it out what was wrong. They eventually decided that I should make an appointment with the dealership, and that they should troubleshoot the ConBox. If the ConBox needed to be replaced, then they needed to open a TAC ticket. (I don't know what that means). My appointment was today, but mine started working again over the weekend, just like yours. I went ahead and kept my appointment, simply because I want to rule out that the car is the problem. Either way, if Audi knows that there is a problem with the Audi Connect accounts, and just covering it up, that leaves me with a trust issue with Audi. I am anxious to see what this diagnostic shows.

October 2 thru present (10/7/2022) & ongoing - I am encountering the very same problems you described.

MyAudi app could not connect to car
MMI lost all favorite settings
My Online Startions would not work
MMI have no network connection
MMI map cannot use Google Search & no traffic maps

I did hard reboot. Did not work.
I restored factory setting. Did not work. Not only that, I could not set-up key user as no network to connect to. (Key user was cleaned with resetting to factory setting).
I tried to see twice per day if it will normalize… none so far.

Contacted my dealer service department. But because they’re swamped with jobs, they though sales can help me with “connectivity”. Sales never called me back yet (whole day waiting).I scheduled a service appointment thru online and soonest I could get an appointment was more than a month from now on 11/18/2022.

This is annoying. My Audi Connect is active & my car’s LTE has 3-4 out of 5 bars. I just renewed it this July 2022 & it is good till July 2023. Paid a good deal of money for this Audi Connect service.

I'm have the same issue right now. I can start an EA session from the app, however. But the App will not connect to the car, not can I connect to online services inside the car such as weather, news, purchases, etc.

My Audi connect services are current and active, but where 2 days ago I could check the Audi connect services status from the app, now that doesn't work either.

Anyone else having the issue right now? Is this an Audi outage issue?

Has to be a coincidence, but no sooner than i pull into the service bay to have my 10k Inspection performed and the latest software update applied, the app went nuts with notifications! Literally catching up all the data from the last couple of days.

It was weird to watch ... Like a time lapse video of charging performance, etc.

I brought it to the dealership service, and they had fix the bugs. Here’s the report on the service performed:

Connected Battery Maintainer
Connected Battery Maintainer
Found corrupted navigation bank.
Found TSB 2062115/7 related to concern
Performed TSB - erased navigation bank & reinstalled verified operation. Navigation now operational.

Put Vehicle in Flight Mode.
Performed USB Update thru Red Screen successful. Put car to sleep and performed SVM. Failed several times. Repeat sleep mode and was successful. Removed vehicle from flight mode, cleared all faults verified. Operation OK at this time.

After the fix, MyAudi app connects with car, and updates OK. The car’s MMI infotainment is working OK, and Navigation back working again.

As a customer, I really hope Audi would be able to do over-the-air software updates, rather than relying on dealerships for updates & fixes.

I picked up my 2023 eTron suv two weeks ago. The MyAudi app worked for a week and now I can no longer connect to the vehicle through the app. I have reinstalled the app, turned vehicle cellular data off and back on, reset the mmi. Nothing works. My dealership is giving me lots of mumbo jumbo about Apple and The Cloud servers being the problem. This is nonsense. The dealership has no idea what to do.

Is there a fix for this? The Audi forum is full of people with the same problem.

Do nothing. 99.99% of the time it is Audi's fault and you just have to wait for Audi to solve their problem. There is nothing you can do on your side and, more likely than not, if you fiddle around with your MyAud app that was working before it might not work after Audi figures things out. Treat the app as an amusing curiosity and NEVER put yourself in a position where you have to rely on the app.

Thanks, but that’s easier to say if you live in a warm climate. My Ford Edge allowed me to warm the cabin from my app five years ago. I’m not going back to the dark days of walking out to my car at minus 20 to start it cold and start scraping the windshield. Then hitting cancel on the error messages that tell me ‘no data connection could be established’ every time I start the car. Long time Audi eTron users remind me of Toronto Maple Leaf fans, resigned to a lifetime of disappointment.

But that is the unfortunate reality of the App. One workaround, which at least was available in the 2019MY, is to set the car up to start the AC when the drivers door is unlocked by the fob. All you have to do is be close enough to the car to let the Fob unlock it. To enable that in the MMI:

Go to Vehicle-->Climate Control-->icon of thermometer upper right-->COG at the far upper right-->activate A/C when doors are unlocked.

At least that would minimize the time spent in the cold!
