Good question...I’m a long term VW customer and in the market for a new car. I‘ve been waiting out the pandemic, including all the supply chain and chip shortage fun bits that went along with it. Things appear to be getting better so I started doing some research online. Initially I was thinking of an Atlas Cross Sport, but considering the price of gas lately, and it doesn’t look like its betting better any time soon, I thought its probably a good time to look at EVs.
Being a VW guy, I started with the ID.4...but I’m not crazy about the interior design and infotainment system. I think VW missed the boat when it comes to appealing to my age demographic...but the when I watched a YT video on the new Audi Q4 e-tron and saw the price (compared to the other Audi e-tron lineup) I thought, “Wow...this deserves a closer look! Considering what you get for the price when compared to other luxury EV brands, the Q4 seems like the best option/deal. Unfortunately it looks like I will need to be patient...I called a couple of Audi stealerships in my area, and they indicated the current wait time is easily 18-24 months. That may change for the good or bad, but no one knows for sure.

Hello everyone. I’m Jonathan, from Copenhagen, Denmark. Got my first EV, an e-tron Sportback S in Navarra Blue and I’m loving it. It’s a beast. Could have just a little better range. Maybe I’ll find some cool tips on how to improve it here.

Congratulations on your Etron. That is a great color. Just be aware that your range will be lower in cold weather....going from 25C to 0C will cause a 20%, or so, drop in range. It is not unique to the Etron. All EV's have this problem.
Thanks for the reminder. Already noticed that. Specially with the heating on, consumption went from average 27 kW/100 Km to 38, sometimes over 40 kW/100 Km. We’re not even below 0° yet here.

Hi all. Nice to be here. I picked up my new (to me) e-tron on 24th December. It's a 2020 55 Quattro and is awesome. Well, it was until I had to take it back to the dealer 6 days later as the tracking was way off and, whilst they were correcting that, the SOS system came up with failure alert. Anyway, they had the car for a week, sorted the tracking, replaced the shark fin and updated the firmware so all good again.
This is my first ev and I love the quietness and the instant kick of power. The range isn't great (189 miles at 100%) but we don't do too many long journeys and will just have to plan.
Look forward to chatting with you all and learning more about the car.

I’ve never actually joined or participated in a forum before. However in the months before ordering and taking delivery of my GT this forum has been massively helpful. I had so many questions that were hard to access the answer…having found this forum totally saved the day, so thought I’d join and hopefully help others.
I’m based in East Midlands in the UK. Have the standard GT in mythos black with most of the extras. First fully electric car and about 2 weeks into the adventure.
Absolutely love the car. Had a lot of cars over the years but nothing ever made me smile like a Golf R32 did nearly 20 years ago…until now! Been grinning like a mad man for 2 weeks straight!

I have put down deposit on two e-trons, both 2019 and waiting to be available to see and buy. It's going to be my first Audi and seeking advice from fellow members is invaluable. I design OE electronic modules for construction machine and very capable of fixing issues on JLR cars. I hope there as much information around about Audi's as well.
