Hi everyone has anyone heard from their dealer roughly when they expect delivery?

I ordered/reserved July 22nd of 2021 and the salesperson at the dealership I ordered said I was one of the early ones in the Toronto Area.

Every time I ask if there are any updates I hear there is a delay. Apparently, they were supposed to get their demo car in Jan but apparently, that's being held in Halifax.

That makes sense. Did they say what they define as "launch" since they have been taking refundable reservations for almost a year now? Also, did you by any chance hear about your car going into production or would that be after the launch as well? I haven't heard anything from Audi Mississauga.

I spoke to the dealer yesterday and they told me that they still can't release any cars until Audi Canada has launched the model. He said Audi Canada is notoriously cagey about their launches, and the best info he has right now is end-March or April for the launch and subsequent release of the car.

He said that COVID had severely impacted supply chain for delivery and while I think I inferred that there were some vehicles in port in the Maritimes not yet cleared, he said most still haven't arrived. It sounds like we shouldn't expect to be in the car until April at the earliest. I said that they will need to reposition these as 2023 models

As a side note, they will refund the deposit if you choose to go with another vehicle. Good luck finding one if you do!

I backed out of the deal in favour of another car brand that will be delivered in March. Now I'm stuck with Audi Q4 winter wheels. This would have been my 11th Audi and will be my last!

Audi Brossard had that EV meeting too. Last Dec. my sales rep said my car would arrive in Halifax in Feb. but without a build date. Now it seems that the delivery date also depends largely on the official launch date. I don't want to drive a brand new Q4 on muddy road so spring delivery is perfect for me. lol

Whoa you guys' process is WAY ahead of ours down here, but what possible logical reason could there be for them to still have the cars sitting at port‽ That's bonkers.

Dock workers have the same issue truck drivers do, none are vaccinated, many are sick, some for the second or third time. Docks are a mess across the continent.

Ahhh yeah that's a fair point. Dumb oversight on my part!

Haha yeah I definitely don't want to be driving a new car in snow and all the nasty weather we get during winter. So agree with you on that. Although it's bit unfortunate on the communication end on when this "launch" date is or what the reasons are really affecting the time. It seems like the dealerships don't have much information either which really sucks.

I ordered 2 weeks ago, in Saskatchewan. My dealer said Q4 2022. But it may change at any time.

Dealer told me I have a confirmed allotment in the factory, estimated delivery end of the year. The Audi Canada confirmation appears to be a custom order.

I don't know why Audi USA sucks so hard but glad that Audi Canada sucks less!

Hi all. Just want to share some info with fellow future Q4 E-tron owners.
We ordered our car when it first became avaliable to order in August-2021.
There were a number of possible delivery dates given but our final update last week from our dealer is 'possibly' end of Feb.
They said the vehicles have arrived in Canada-Eastern seaport. But are being inspected and released by CBSA and perhaps relevant agencies. Because the vehicle is a brand-new model in Canada it might take sometime for it to be release.
At least it's here. So I imagine it shouldn't be long before it starts delivering to people who ordered back in Summer-2021.
And the dealer's will have at least their demo vehicle to show the public.

Where did you order yours, Montreal? I haven't heard from my dealer since Dec, so must be delayed again. May delivery makes sense.
