I've been reading this thread for a while. I placed my order in 2022 and vehicle was recently built. I should be taking delivery this summer.

At the time of placing the order I wasn't able to remove the add ons like document fee, interior treatment etc. Anyone have any feedback if there's a chance I can get those things removed now?

Fun turn of events for me today. I was on Audi's website last night, checking out available inventory of Q4's at nearby dealerships (which seems to be growing FYI) - and I found the exact build of mine with a couple of minor cosmetic differences. I called the dealership to secure it, and I'm picking it up Monday!
Congrats & not surprised. Near where I am, there is yet another fully loaded White 2023 Q4 at Langley avail this week after another member got a Nav Blue there last week. As per my own guess-post a month ago in this forum, there are more cancelled orders that people realize, due to a) higher interest rates, b) less loyal fans picking up the Y after the major Tesla discount in Jan, c) folks being fed up with Audi in general, etc.

I was able to negotiate removal of additional line items at pick up including floor mats and any extra treatments applied at the dealership.

What other fees have people been successful at removing? Documentation fee?

Trying to negotiate with a local dealership. Burnaby/Vancouver/Richmond
I think at this point with canceled orders and a shorter wait list we could start to negotiate more with dealerships. The key to negotiating is to be willing to walk away from the deal otherwise there is no reason for the dealership to budge.

I placed an order for a q4 sportback in Sep 2022 (before price increases in Dec). I have been informed that it will not be fulfilled as it did not make the cut off for 2023. Sales rep says he will advise if any other orders are cancelled or move order to 2024 model when details are available. I have found the same car (different colour) in stock at another nearby dealership, but of course it is listed at the new higher prices.
What are the options, if any, to get Audi to sell me a car at the agreed price, given there is a car available, just not at the dealership where I placed the order with a deposit?
I should have placed orders at every area dealership to avoid this I guess but that seems a ridiculous requirement.

Was it an actual order or a deposit?
I put my deposit down in October and order in Feb. They told me ETA August 2023.

I paid a deposit and rep shared a screen shot that says sold order but no details. View attachment 8888
Yep sorry not really an order. I’ve heard some instances where dealer honoured original quote but I think those are rare and frankly I’m a bit skeptical especially given that dealers had the upper hand with high demand and low (no) supply. They would have to pay the higher cost to get the car so why would they voluntarily eat that difference? I personally paid a deposit and got a quote (like the one you got) at 2022 prices then paid 2023 price for 2023MY.

As others have noted with demand/supply imbalance finally shaking out maybe you have a chance to negotiate. Can’t hurt to try.

You could cancel your order if you have a refundable deposit (most are). Then buy the other one that’s available now.

But possible that 2024MY will have an extra feature or two that you’re happy to pay up for. Who knows?

Seems this is just the deposit order. Mine says “order created” has the date I put my deposit down. Then it has the “factory submitted” date on there as well which is when it was actually a confirmed order.
So unfortunately based on this info they won’t honor the price as you were just on the waitlist.
Even mine I think until it actually goes in to production price is not guaranteed.

We ordered the Sportback from the other dealer. After discussions with both dealerships and the responses on this forum (thank you) it’s clear an order and deposit did not mean anything. We would need to pay new list price. Happy that we got the car we wanted since Sportbacks are pretty rare, and it has a heat pump.
Now I need to get the level 2 charger installed. I was expecting to get months of notice of when we would get the car, and now we will pick it up next week! Slooow changing for a few weeks anyway, since chargepoint flex are back ordered for 4 weeks.

After a year's wait, I took delivery of my Navarro Blue Q4 this weekend. I placed a deposit back around April 22, ordered and spec'd the Q4 in November and took delivery yesterday in Ontario. I was fortunate and was able to get the order in before all the price increases and also still had the heat pump.

I was told the wait times are about a year if you ordered today so looks like delivery times have improved a bit. Also, there should be more allocations for lower optioned Q4's.

The Q4 has been great and everything as expected and the larger center screen is a nice addition. The only issues/negative things I noticed so far.
  • MyAudi app doesn't update and have no data connection in the car. It worked for the first few hours and then stopped working.
  • The logic on the charge timer on the Q4 is not intuitive. You set a departure time rather then setting a window for the car to charge.

Well, I just got news that my vehicle arrived at Halifax and should be ready for delivery in 2-3 weeks. I ordered a Navarro non-sportback Q4 with black optics, premium and tech packages. That order was placed in September 2021.

Very curious about the interest rates, I was quoted 9.98% finance rate for 84 months in December. Wonder if that changed.

did you get this rate through Audi financing? How did you manage that? I got quoted 7.48% and that’s with a loyalty reduction.
Yep through Audi financing. In July 2022 when I made the order I asked if the rate will remain the same at delivery. We signed some papers and they kept the rate that was available with loyalty reduction at the time. I honestly did not expect them to honour it but they did without fuss.
