Q4 Delivery Canada

Hi everyone has anyone heard from their dealer roughly when they expect delivery?

I ordered/reserved July 22nd of 2021 and the salesperson at the dealership I ordered said I was one of the early ones in the Toronto Area.

Every time I ask if there are any updates I hear there is a delay. Apparently, they were supposed to get their demo car in Jan but apparently, that's being held in Halifax.

My dealer is telling me the rates weren’t protected and that the current rate is 7.99% for 48 months. That’s WITH me trading in my previous Audi vehicle, so I thought I should also be getting a loyalty discount! Does this sound correct for anyone who has recently purchased?
When I placed my order last year in July. I did a credit approval through Audi and the rate was at 6.99% - loyalty rate of .75% = 6.24%. The dealer was able to price protect it this year at 6.24% I have a trade in as well but it did not affect the rate.

When did you complete the purchase?
Just got a note that our Q4 ordered in January, 2023 will be delivered by the end of this month. Perfect timing for the Summer.

Production week was early April but don’t have the week number from the salesperson. Due to arrive in Halifax (?) May 16.
Ordered in Fall 2022 and finally taking delivery soon!

Wondering if anyone purchased the Audi care package? I have been reading alot and got confused as Audi UK says the Q4 only needs maintainance every 2 years but others say there is a annual reminder that comes up and requires Audi to reset the message. Is it worth $1700 cad?
Nice to see folks getting their long-awaited cars on this thread! I myself put down 1000$ to "reserve" a spot in the wait list for a Q4 at a Dealer in Montreal a couple of months ago after a pleasant test drive. The dealer basically warned me that the price might go up and in that case it would no longer qualify for the 5k federal rebate anymore by the time I get it. Wait time just to get allocation is ~ 1 year. Now when I look at the Audi website it's all but confirmed that the price is increased and I'm torn. I'm not a Tesla fan (fears of terrible build quality) but the Model Y long range got 5k cheaper and is in the same ballpark as the Q4 price-wise. I think a huge part of the value proposition for this car is its qualification for the incentives. I saw a couple of folks on here who had 2024 MY order sheets with the old pricing, but I'm wondering if that's just because you placed your orders before any of these hikes were announced? Anyone in my shoes on here? I'd love to hear from my Canadian friends who are in no-man's land waiting for allocation.

You should call the dealer and ask what the situation is. The MY2024 pricing will not qualify for the federal rebate and there's a $3-4,000 increase on top of that. Their answer should inform you of whether you ask for the deposit back or you get what you wanted at the time of the test drive. There are also other good e-models on the market other than the Model Y but it is a sellers market.

Thanks bud! Yeah, I asked the dealer about my situation but they were totally candid with me in telling me that they genuinely don't know what model year I'd even be getting or what the price would be at that point or anything. All up in the air atm. I think at this point I'll just leave the deposit in their hands and buzz around for other EVs while things are unclear and hold my place in line. Crazy times we live in. And you're totally right about other good e-models on the market. That said, a bunch of the non-teslas are in the same boat as the Q4 from what I've seen: No-man's land for reservations and no allocations. That or they're priced rather ridiculously (i.e. the not-so-great-looking (imo) BMW ix). Original price point on Q4 in Canada was chef's kiss.

Good luck with your endeavour. Saw a sort of dark green iX over the weekend and my wife thought is was some sort of army personnel carrier. If you are willing to scour the dealers in Ontario, you might find one if you are not dead set on colour, etc. Uptown Audi is helpful. But seems like the chef's kiss is losing its purchase.

There is the MY2024 non-refresh model that qualifies for the federal iZEV rebate and there is the MY2024 refresh model that does not qualify the for federal iZEV rebate because of the $4k increase. I got a factory allocation for a MY2024 non-refresh model that qualifies for the iZEV rebate when I ordered last month. My understanding is that they're prioritizing vehicles that have the packages (est delivery date is November 2023 - hopefully). BC has six Q4s for sale at 3 dealerships at the moment. I would check for cancellations for MY2023 while you're waiting.

Sounds like from production date around 6 weeks to deliver? Please post on here once you take possession. Thx!

After 16 months, finally got the Q4 Sportback last week but had to wait until yesterday when they got the dashcam installed. The Q4's been perfect so far ☺

Ours was built late January and finally arrived in May. I hope and think that yours should get through much quicker now! I think ours was delayed as they were updating to latest software version as I think ours was first batch of the MY23.

Reading this forum I must say I have to have gotten INSANELY lucky - I have long serviced my own car (MY16 A3 e-tron) at Pfaff Audi Newmarket since I was practically sworn off Audi Uptown IDGAF attitude & Audi Thornhill not having enough e-tron techs or equipment to service them, but after a recent HV battery recall I spotted a MY22 Q4 Technik demo in Navarra Blue for sale. I brought my parents in to see if they're interested (my old man has long wanted to get a BEV SUV) and after some negotiation my his MY18 Outlander PHEV is going in next week with that 2022 Q4 e-tron coming back home to make a two e-tron household.

I didn't quite realize how hot the Q4 is in Canada until finding this long winded post which I sworn I've seen a long time ago...yet it is still just as crazy for those with pre-orders for MY23 still not being fulfilled to this day.
My Q4 is expected to arrive at the dealership beginning of June. - Audi Richmond
Has anyone been able to negotiate the dealer options and charges?
such as:
$725 westcoast package (rubber mats and puddle lights)
$495 documentation fee
$395 lease/finance option fee
$2,850 freight and PDI
$1,195 audi care

Any help here would be great!
Thanks!

My sportback order from August 2021 is finally at the dealership, but did not pass PDI due to a faulty part that doesn’t have an ETA. The sales guy can’t even give me a timeline after telling me I would have the car for the first weekend of May!

I was able to get them to price match to the MSRP quoted to me at the time I ordered, which also included a reduction in the BS money grab all weather mats and an ice scraper “package” that they try to hawk for $895 - they knocked that down to $395 (ask them for a price comparison from the service department). The rest of the fees seem to be non-negotiable.

That said, I have initiated a claim with Audi Canada over their ending of the in home charging credit for $1500, which was a financial incentive available to me at time of order that was unilaterally terminated in January this year without notice. I’m arguing that since I am not responsible for the delivery delay, and since they are honouring the MSRP in recognition of their role in said lengthy delay, they should also be honouring the credit - at threat of litigation.

Let’s see how this plays out!

we were able toget rid of Audicare. We didn’t try the others. We actually really like ourAudi rubber mats and puddle lights on our Q3. So didn’t even try.

what was your production week? I’m also with Audi Richmond. Products week was last week.
Had a level 2 charger installed today, a Grizzlie. 50A circuit, 40A at charger, 9.6 kW, 24 ft cable. Connected to Wi-Fi and ready for the car…that’s on a train from Halifax

I am not sure what production week I was, but i got allocation in Dec 2022 and was told it left Europe end of April 2023 and arrived in Halifax beginning of May 2023. I was able to bring the price down for the westcoast package.
Freight PDI, A/C tax, and advance disposal fee are mandatory fees/charges. everything else is dealer profit! so negotiate where you can!
