I guess have the same problem with my Q4 50 (Dec 2021) in Finland; this only started after a year of use or so: first the dealer replaced the "suspension stabilizers" (or what ever it is in English) , but it didn't help. Then they said that the front rattling noise is coming from breaks and are waiting for a fix solution from the factory - it's been now 5 months and nothing, they just say still waiting factory to solve the issue, nothing they can do. I have also problem with really noisy, uncomfortable suspension which Audi claims is normal, but it is not as it has gradually got worse and worse. I'm planning to take the car to some other shop to be checked. It is very annoying... I have 2 other cheaper, older cars, but twice as comfortable to drive...
Same problem here. I have a 2021 e-Tron. After about a year the front driver side started making a rattling sound that sounds like something's loose in the suspension. You can only hear it when driving over a rough road (potholes, etc.) Took it to the dealer few months back and they said they couldn't find anything. Whatever...it's a lease so won't be my problem in 14 months when I turn it back in. I had them check it so that I have it documented that I told them about the issue and they didn't do anything about it. It's obvious something isn't right, even my wife can tell something sounds loose. Pity that a $80k+ vehicle has these types of issues. BTW, the car (which we do really like) only has 13k miles. First and last Audi though, shame.

Press down on your hood when it is closed. If there is give then that may be the problem. It was for mine. There are two plastic bumpers under the hood that con be adjusted to hold the hood tighter against it's latch when closed. If you slide the collar on the bumper out, you can then twist the bumper countercloskwise to have it extend a bit further from the hood. If you go too far the hood won't latch. Don't forget to slide the collar back in to lock it. Easy to do. Worked for mine.

Finally, today my dealer told me that now they have received Technical Service Bulletin from the factory and now they have a fix for the rattling/knocking noise, time booked for late May. Hopefully it will be solved...

Hi,

I’ve found this site useful as it lists the TSB for the Q4, and includes a few about suspension issues. Other vehicles are available on this site.

same issue in a 2023 Q4 in the U.K. with 2,000 miles. Sounds like something rattling on the right hand centre of vehicle. I hear it when the window is down (drivers sit on right in U.K.). Not sure it’s suspension or shocks but who knows. Judging by now woeful Audi customer service is, I’ll sit it out for a bit. It’s a lease car anyway and have to say, I’d never buy one.

My dealer told me 6 months that they don't have a solution from the factory, even though this file was found on the internet; they said that is for US only. But then finally they managed to fix it and said it is the same problem and fix than in us.. so I guess they can fix it in uk if they can fix in Finland.. .

My rattling noise has been resolved and it seems to be unrelated to the other issues on this thread. It turned out to be a pebble that had become lodged on top of the shock absorber, resting against the wishbone. Once I’d forced Audi to actually agree they could hear it (they’d road tested with windows closed FFS) they put the vehicle on the inspection platform and saw the pebble immediately. They had the car for 5 days 🙄

I have the same problem, took it to the dealer and provided the TSB attached here. They said the TSB I supplied doesn't apply to my vehicle VIN
Now I don't know what to do, planning to take it to a different dealership
All four wheel suspensions should be checked after shipping to USA (?related to the spacers used for transport).
My 2023 Q4 e-tron had loose nut on end bar, left front suspension causing rattling!

As a new owner of an EV, I am really enjoying it so far. However, I have a concern and would like to inquire if anyone with a 2022 or 2023 Q4 is experiencing a rattling noise coming from the front left side of the car. I don't think it's the shocks because the noise only occurs when going over potholes or road markers, but not over speed bumps. I am wondering if this is a normal design feature or if there is an actual issue that needs to be addressed.

Any information is helpful thank you in advance
Similar rattling was corrected by tightening a loose nut on the end rod of my front, driver side suspension......originally overlooked after shipping.
