Hey everyone,
does anyone ever had issues with their Q4 not automatically changing the seat profile / MMI profile with the associated key fob? my wife and I use the car interchangeably and after she uses it, and I enter the vehicle and select my profile in the MMI, none of the seats change to my settings. I have to manually hold down the button on the door.

It's been awhile since I had to do all of that, but have you linked your key fob to your profile? Try having the car turned on, adjust to all your settings including your profile being selected. Stop the car, get out and lock and unlock the car with the key fob.

I have the same issue. I've done what you've described which is the same as what the manual says.

I mentioned the issue to my dealer technologist and he wasn't aware of the issue. However, he recommended that I also save the seat memory while the other key was out of range. That was the way to do it before infotainments became advanced.

I did this several times and only one time it actually worked. But, after that it didn't work again. So something must confuse it to stop working.

For now, the workaround is to press the memory location once before closing the door so that you don't have to keep holding the button.

EDIT: thinking back, I wonder if having a pin# assigned was causing an issue. I have since removed the pin, but I haven't retested it.

Is it possible to save a user profile to a key fob on the Q4?

The linked video is old. They've slimmed down the MMI for the Q4. There isn't an option to apply user settings. They claim that it is automatic now:

This morning, I've tried to get it to work, but no success. Upon entry, it only prompts you to continue with the last used profile, or to select a different profile to load. And unfortuneately, selecting a different profile doesn't move the seats/mirrors. I had to also press the memory preset button making it a 2-step process. I hope that isn't as intended and that they eventually fix it.

Sorry to hear that! I wonder if this is related to all the software problems Audi has been having with the Q4.

This is driving my wife and I CRAZY! I'm wondering if we need to have both keys linked to myAudi as "key users"? I'm also wondering if using the convenience lock/unlock on the door handle vs using the fob buttons is causing this to not work? I need to spend more time (and use more patience) to see if I can get this working. Eventually I'll break down and see the dealer I suppose. As indicated in the screenshot from JT above it is CLEAR this is a feature that is supposed to work. Would love to know if any one has been successful yet. 2023 Q4 Quattro.

Let us know if you learn anything. I've given up and chalked it up to a bug. After I'm done driving, I recall my wife's settings. It's frustrating that my dealer couldn't figure it out either.

I’ve tried all kinds of things to get this working (key/phone/remote/comfort access) and still no luck. I have to manually change driver profiles every time. Anyone had any luck on this yet? I need to get it over to my dealer and see if they can work any magic.

I ran into the same problem. But I eventually find out how to fix it. You have to start the car when you get into it first by stepping on the brake. Then, wait about 5-7 seconds and then change to your profile in MMI. Then, the seat and mirror will change to that profile. If you don’t wait for 5-7 seconds after you start the car, it won’t work
