Yep, I'm never getting another Audi after this. I doubt I'm not alone in this forum.

 

Hi, does anyone know how long it takes for the car to get to the port from the factory?

 

We ordered early Feb and took delivery last Monday. 45 S-Line with adjustable boot floor. Took maybe around 10 days from leaving factory to delivery.

 

Ordered a 45 Quattro Black Edition in mid Feb and not got a build week yet. Seems to be really hit and miss, but going to get onto the dealership on Monday to try and find out what’s going on.

 

It’s the 360 camera that is causing delays. I have ordered mine in November 2022 and still waiting, the build week keeps moving forward, now the factory says it’s not until autumn. If I would remove that 360 camera they would build and deliver. I wonder if they really are missing the parts or they have a problem that the software doesn’t work so they can’t build it.

 

Ordered 25th Jan. Email from Audi (not the dealer) to say production starts week 16 (this last week).

 

I ordered a 45 sport on 20 jan. Had a build week for 18 March. Spoke to dealer last week who said it’s on its way to the port (status 30). But since then no update. Hope it doesn’t end up sitting at the port for weeks and weeks. Not sure if EMDEN still have back logs

 

All of these cameras "issues" are just the same as when all of us with Edition One orders had to wait for ever, or remove electric memory seats. Mine arrived after a massive wait, with electric memory seats, which I have never set as I am the only one who drives the car 😁

But I was never given the option to remove anyway !!!

TBH it is a very nice car, missing some things I would class as standard on an almost 60k car (reversing camera, wireless phone charging, under floor boot storage etc.) but I am afraid I still stand by previous statements of "This will be my last Audi". Don't get me wrong the cars are good, but the service is pretty crap. My daughter has an A1 S-Line, £300 for an interim service which is basically an oil change and pollen filter. But suppose that is in-line with most car servicing costs these days. Thank goodness for Company cars !!

Here’s an update from my last post…. Car is still sitting in Emden waiting to be shipped! Spoke to the dealer who said the car is on the list to be shipped… when?… don’t know!!!

 

Hi AS327. I hope your wait is over. If so what was your experience of timing to get shipped and then UK (I’m assuming) port to delivery?

 

Hi, finally picked up the car on Monday! The build week was March 18th so literally two months wait from then. It was sat in Emden for about 5-6 weeks. Have you got yours?

 

Good news your car finally arrived. I hope the car proves it was worth the wait.
I did not hold firm on the 360 cameras and agreed for it to go to build without (although could not get a price reduction).
In general I have struggled to get information out of the lease company around the status, but was told 2 weeks ago “car is built and in transit, expecting it to arrive in 2-3 weeks after which delivery will be arranged”.

 

Loving the car so far! Doing my first charge today! Hopefully all goes well with your car and you get it soon. I went without the 360 cameras too

 

Im guessing this 360 cam issue / deal is across the board for all new builds ? im looking to purchas a6 avant with a tech pro pack but worried about the build time especially considering there is any examples in any dealerships.

 

I ordered a new Q4 45 Black Edition Sportback at the end of June with the Tech Pack Pro, but they've now taken this option off the online configurator, should I be concerned?

 

You can check with your dealer, but the configuration you ordered should still be the one that’s built, despite any later changes to the online configuration.
