I am waiting for my q4 etron sportback to arrive in April or March and I am dying to learn as much I can.
Searching all over the internet there is no where to be found expect from here.

I didn't know where to write this. Feels like there should be a thread for all general technical questions. Anyway, I digress. I wonder if anyone can tell me if the Q4 has an hydraulical type of bonnet. Or is it just an old fashioned rod and hook? Thanks (pardon my English if I used some wrong words).

Old fashion rod and hook I’m afraid. Cost saving in my opinion, but my guess is Audi will say weight saving!

To be fair, the only reason to go under there is the washer fluid and I've only needed to do that once in over 5k miles, so it's not exactly an issue.
