Q4 software versions

Hi,
I think it would be interesting for people to share their software versions and share if they have some bugs/features/annoyances specific to those releases.

My Q4 shows:

Softwareversion	3608

Two minor annoyances:
1) The privacy splash-screen at startup cannot be disabled (says I'm a guest user). This should be fixed in the november update afaik.
2) My clock has twice reset itself to 1970. At that point I cannot enable the automatic time synchronization, it disables itself whenever I activate it. The clock will correct itself a few restarts later.

Has anyone had their software updated after delivery, and to what versions?

It was the 3812 version just installed on mine, seems to have done the trick. I'm guessing the new 'Themes' isn't available on my car because it's registered in June 22, which is a shame as I was interested in buying some themes. Tried the QR code but states nothing available for my car

3812 is the latest and greatest software for the Q4. It works quite well with the Q4 and the MyAudi App. I am happy to see that our long suffering Q4 brethren in Europe are getting their finally updated.

Also my MMI now has the weather, news, and calendar tiles and the Google satellite layer works on the sat nav (all missing before). Can't believe it, I thought I would never see the day.

The MMI also seems more responsive in general.

I hope this gives hope to anyone else suffering with software issues for as long as me.

Does it still take literally multiple minutes before you can input a destination?

does the map in the virtual cockpit still need to have you hit "view" twice to recenter each time drive?

Those are my big two. Oh, and the STUPID requirement to have to enable the charging timer every f'ing time I park at home instead of just remembering.

that means it significantly limits the range and use especially for road trips

This is weird:

"An improved charging power control system compared to software version 2.3 enables increased DC charging power up to 135 kW"

I've seen 170kW output being displayed by the charging station before, and I've only got 3669

Haven't noticed these issues but then again only got it back this evening and not driven it much to give good test yet , I'll keep eye out over next few days ...

If I let battery drop to 30% or below I always get close to 135 kwh in charge speed but if I start charging at above this I quite typically get around 75 to 80 kwh.

This is exactly one of the reasons I'm getting rid of mine. Registered in December 21, had numerous serious driver failure software errors yet for some reason Audi doesn't seem to think to release this update for my car.... bye Q4 and hello old friend the Q5, at the very least I'll get to see my milage, location and unlock the car remotely hehe. Will miss the preheat in winter though, only useful feature the app had for me stuck on 3608 ☹

I am sorry to see you go. Audi is run by idiots. My Q4 has been fine. However after seeing Audi’s outrageous , irresponsible behavior, I am going back to BMW. BMW Is a first class car company. Audi is not.

I'm leaving for sure next year. Our lease ends November 2024. Looking at a Polestar 3 or 4 🤔
