I spoke to my dealer in Sweden today. He told me that there are two warranty updates available for my car, 93Q6 and 97GP (No sure exactly what those mean). He also told me that they have received information from the factory that there will be another update available on the 20th of mars. So I have scheduled an update on the 27th. I will keep you posted once updated.
I have an Audi Q4 e-tron 40 from april 2022 for reference.

This site here says future updates can be performed over the air. No need to drive to dealer anymore.
Somehow I have a feeling this is the most correct information.

When I asked to complete a survey by Audi USA about my Q4 about a month ago, I specifically mentioned Q4 owners in your situation. I stressed the importance in resolving software issues and broken promises to fellow Q4 Owners by Audi. I was asked to complete a dealer survey about 2 weeks ago. I mentioned it there also. Audi, like most auto manufacturers, is concerned about what is posted online because it turns up in Google searches and can impact sales. Sooner or later Audi will be forced to do something about your situation and others in a similar predicament.

I bought 9 BMWs over a 20 year period. BMW would absolutely have resolved your problem within 2 months max to your satisfaction by either fix to the problem or offer you a refund of some sort. Then again BMW software engineers and management are light years better than Audi. BMW software quality control is light years better than Audi plus they place great value on customer satisfaction and customer retention. Last year Audi USA made the most profit in history. I assume that Audi corporate across all regions did the same. Audi is just too cheap and too shortsighted to fix software issues in a professional manner. Because of issues like yours and Audi software incompetence, I’ll never buy another Audi.

Did that but I don't see any reference to software version.

Audi have produced a press release with details of the software update for model year 2022 Audi Q4 e-tron: Software update: Audi offers new, high-value features for the Audi Q4 e-tron

The update brings model year 2022 upto the same feature and fix level as model year 2023.

It implies that model year 2023 vehicles already support over-the-air updates — just that there haven’t been any updates later than version 3812 yet.

It will be interesting to see if model year 2024 comes with a further update, and if that update will be offered over-the-air to existing vehicles.

The cars being updated are “start of production up through 2022”. So this should fix the early production Q4s. That would be awesome for those Q4 Owners that have been waiting a couple of years!

That should also open the door for future upgrades.

I'm still confused about the software on my Q4. Just checked it out and it shows 3669. Haven't seen any discussion on that #. My Q4 was built in 8/22
In the wild in the UK, I’ve seen owners with 3608, 3616, 3669 and 3812. It seems that any vehicles with software older than 3812 will be offered an update to 3812 (or perhaps a different version with equivalent features and fixes).

Waiting for my dealer to respond after sending them the link about the software update.

I booked in a service visit at the local dealership through the app and provided the link in the post above for reference. Got a call this morning and was told that the software update was not available. I have a late 2021 Q4. I guess we’re a step closer to resolution.

I’ve been in contact with my dealer where they checked for the update, and like you, nothing for my car I purchased in November 2021. Apparently we will get a letter asking us to book the car in. I expect that letter will arrive along with this years Christmas cards.

Although Audi will have tested this update thoroughly (one would hope) once you get things out in the wild, results can differ greatly. Smart to slowly roll it out to a small batch of users with similar hardware and software configs, rather than releasing it en masse. Controls the variables, and allows them to catch any further bugs much quicker. Especially when a days long appointment at the dealer is needed. Once OTA updates are available, one can be slightly more aggressive with software update plans, as long as you don’t break the OTA functionality with your update. Then your hooped.

Just returned from the dealer and spent a good bit of time with the service department. With me, they read the Audi notice updating the software we have been talking about on this forum. As of today, they do not have any documentation for the software update in their system.

I'm expecting them to take 6 months to roll this out to Canada. I'm currently on 3669.

Personally I'm disappointed but not surprised that their thermal management algorithms, including DC charging in colder weather are total trash based on my experience. My read is that with 3669, it's actually not even possible to charge at 135 kW (announcement reads: "...enables 135 kW charging.."). On the other hand I'm happy that they're fixing it.
