Quite right - speaking as a first time Audi driver I’m not as impressed as I was expecting / hoping to be and it’s not just software issues (mind you I didn’t have a great experience with Mercedes either - these so-called premium German car brands really aren’t all that in my experience!)
yup.. same here. very disappointed and not very good first time Audi experience. they have lost me as a customer as well as many people i will speak to and convince them not to buy Audi!
 
Unfortunately there are many long term Audi owners that have started to look elsewhere. Just as upsetting there are many new Audi owners that have sworn off the brand and trying to get a buy back. This not how to grow a brand.

It would be nice if Audi commissioned some customer service people to frequent these forums and read the room. Then take the comments back to head office and do something to mitigate the damage. I would like the brand to survive and thrive but I don’t have optimism. This is a competitive market and other brands will eat their lunch if they don’t get their act together.
agree. I am first time Audi (Q6 etron) buyer and i have nothing but regrets buying this car. not a very good experiance. I don't trust any of the feature.
e.g. digital key, even though i can use the car without the physical key fob, i don't trust the car to work and i carry the fob all the time. i don't take car for overnight/long trip. i feel the car will breakdown without any warnings and i will be stuck without help in middle of nowhere. this is just using the car for first 1 month. lots of software issues, frustrating MMI, alarms goes off anytime, was locked out of my car (luckily the car was in my driveway).
The worst thing though, Audi is not doing anything about this, not even a single OTA update on this brand new car and platform since its launch.
