After a whole weekend of red warnings, electric and battery error and trouble even starting the car today ive only had the yellow active front assistance init 🤔 i cant see any updates have happened.
it you are having consistent red warnings then you need to be talking to your dealership. Most alerts will reset when you next start the car. The only updates you’ll see will be ones to the MMI that’s are OTA. System updates are via the workshop for now

Yes i have a time reserved tomorrow, but i may postpone the visit to next week when i get the new patch cause the car drives perfectly when im able to start rolling.

Hi Hppy, yes the traffic issue still exist today when I drove this morning.

i wonder did Rudy send his car off for software update and how he get on. I have scheduled it on the 23rd Dec.
I still have the traffic sign issue, and my nav was update on the 11th Nov.

No further forwards on the software update. My dealer called to say that all of their systems are down, and could they keep it for another day.

New bug for me, but it is a move in the right direction...

Within a few hours of getting the car, I had traffic sign recognition issues, I was unable to use cruise control and the car constantly showed the signs in Km and speed in MPH

Overnight on Saturday, something was changed. I no longer have the KM/MPH issue and the signs are all correctly in MPH.

However, now I have roads that are 70 flashing up on the cockpit at 60! I have just driven up to Liverpool and was able to use cruise control, seemingly small things please me... plus I was able to Plug&Charge at Ionity
Happy I have this issue. And I noted it basically always happened on national speed limit signs. I think all national speed limits are defaulting to single carriage speed limit at 60 degrees.

it’s not a huge issue, but all the ramps on and off are now 30 too.
Do I take it you don’t have the traffic sign recognition issue now either. ?

Yeah I am getting the same things happening as you. The KM issue is gone but this new one is present.

Hopefully the software update with the new map update should fully correct everything.

are you double pressing the boot button on the key ? Sometimes there’s a beep if the key is not close enough or in the car.

if you check the owners manual you will see you can also set the hight the boot opens. You may need to check and reset it.
I haven’t tried the latter but I will give it a go.

it’s also rejected coming down fully a couple of times, so I do suspect there is something not quite right.

thank you

the new update is out so I would force them to do it then and there is you have lots of red warnings!
You can’t force them to do it, you can book it in. It’s not that the techs don’t want to do the updates it’s down to the fact they don’t have the bays or manpower.

I would say that if some of the issues we are experiencing are caused by the control units and they do not update the control unit software before the 03.01 update then some of the issues may remain. Do not expect this to be a one update fixes all.

I agree force is to strong a word but I understand there is always the odd slot available as I was advised by Audi assist with my issue to get the car into a dealership via them and it will get looked at as a priority over a scheduled booking.

This might be audi assist saying this but Porsche give the same message as well and that was dealt with on the day vs trying to book a service which has a month lead in currently.

Just be carefull, My car is still with Audi, they are not allowed to do anything without instructions from Germany. You might be better with a lot of red lights than without a car!!!

UK Audi Partners use ElsaPro to deliver updates it’s their tech bible. If it’s not in Elsa, then unfortunately you wait for Germany to update. This is why the initial release was paused waiting for Germany to give the green light.

Yeah, he got it going.
12v battery was low ish but not dead! He ended up just disconnecting it to reboot the whole system. I’d never get in there myself to do it under the frunk but it’s working. It’s going in to the dealership on Wednesday for diagnostics and software update.
I’ve dropped my car off this morning, they called me at 4pm saying that the update will ‚eat into tomorrow so hopefully you’ll get your car back in the afternoon’ fingers crossed it all works out!

On a side note, while at the dealership I spotted the dash cam they offer. I’ve asked for the price and they want £749 for it!
