I think that there is a whole new generation of EV owners coming along now who simply don't have the interest in the product that those who purchased a decade ago had (or half that in the case of Audi).

However you explain living with an EV, for some reason people get hung up on range in a way that they never did with a single manufacturer's figure for an ICE car.

The sad thing is that although these users express disappointment with range, the truth is that for the vast majority, it will never be a problem in practice.

Although it depends on a multitude of factors, I get around 2.8 m/kWh from my full-fat E-tron.

It's a little less than Audi claim but you know what, all of the ICE vehicles I have owned over the years also got slightly less mpg than the manufacturers claimed.

It really is simply the nature of the world. Life is too short to worry about it.
