I have two issues with the rear camera:
1) The camera is too close to the lip of the tailgate - when it rains, it pours over the camera completely obscuring the view.
2) At night, the camera has poor low-light performance, and the rear back-up lights aren't bright enough to provide any illumination, so it is not useable in the dark.

Has anyone else had these same experiences???

Same exact complaint and was going to raise it here. My Toyota Highlander has excellent night vision, but the e-tron can't see anything on a dark street. Audi should learn from Toyota.

...and to add to the issue, with the back window so heavily tinted, it is very difficult to supplement what you see on the cam with simple looking back.....I have made a practice of carrying a rag in the back to wipe off the camera. I am in the Pacific Northwest, to rain is a problem!

It's hard to believe they let this fly. The 360 camera is so well-designed, yet it's useless at night. The rear LEDs don't appear to be properly aimed, and they don't even have a dedicated light to support the side cameras. Better bring a parking buddy if you care about your rims.

I wonder if they could change the software to illuminate all of the available lights (parking, signals, etc.) at once..

They should look at what Toyota does. I can back my Highlander up through a twisted driveway at night with no problem using the camera. I can't even see the driveway in my E-Tron.
