Audi has official announced that the E-Tron will celebrate is global debut at a special event on Sept 17th in San Francisco. Full details and pricing will be confirmed alongside the unveiling, and the online vehicle configurator will go live. Those who wish to place an order will be required to provide a $1000, refundable reservation fee. They have also indicated that customers will be able to track the build progress of their vehicle both online and with their local dealer.

This comes at the same time as the recent E-Tron supercar announcement, exciting times.
It makes me even happier that VW Group bought over lamborghini years ago because if it wasn't for that an EV supercar might not happen.

I wonder if Audi will be doing any adjustments to the e-Tron's pricing, since its already been discovered that it will be offering less range than what was originally suggested. It's obvious from the tech/features in the concept, that they are trying to be the most premium offering.

No word on pricing but if Audi expects extra for options that are usually standard to bring up the price fast I will pull my deposit quick. I-Pace for example wants $100 for a locking glove box and an a/c vent to the box. I don't need to chill the manual. I'm waiting for tires to become an option.

That'st the cost of wanting a product from a luxury brand and unfortunately Audi seems to be depending on folks already dead set on buying Audi.
You just were never that interested from the start which is fine, probably better than someone that just blindly goes for the E-Tron with little consideration to other options.

sorry to see you go!

You wont be the last person who's disappointed in what Audi has delivered with their new electric SUV, as there are some very strong competitors for it. The majority of early adopters are most likely to be brand loyalists.
