My current problem, after two weeks of ownership, is the sound system has failed. No sound from FM, Satellite or media player. It quit a couple of times last week but came back to life after a few minutes. Totally out this time. What's unusual about this failure is that the volume control and Sound menu settings sometimes give an error message, other times it looks like they are functioning normally even though there is not sound coming from the speakers. I've poked around all the MMI settings and can't find anything that helps. Back to the dealer next week.

After five days of no sound, it mysteriously came back to life and has been fine ever since. I've cancelled my appointment with the dealer. I have no idea of any thing I did to get it working again. I consider it an intermittent condition that will happen again. Hopefully I can get it to the dealer ib a failed state.
Are you using a phone with the car? Sometimes, the car will stay connected to the phone, so no volume on audio. Try turning off the phone.
