The all-new 2022 Audi e-tron GT high-performance electric sedan is finally here. It shares a platform with the Porsche Taycan but offers a different experience that comes in the form of more power to start, comfort and practicality. It's priced from $100,000, produces up to 522 horsepower and 472 lb-ft. of torque. All of which are comparable the Taycan 4S. Where it stands out is with these features.

$99,900 gets you into the base quattro Premium Plus model. Above that is the quattro Prestige from $107,100 and finally the top-of-the-range RS e-tron GT from $139,900. Pricing is reasonable as the e-tron GT offers the most performance in any Audi so far.

Up to 637 horsepower, 612 lb-ft of torque, 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph is what you can expect with the RS e-tron GT. That’s comparable to supercars priced much higher and more importantly to directly e-tron GT rivals like the Taycan and Tesla Model S.

The e-tron GT can charge from 5-80% in just 22.5 minutes. This is possible thanks to a 93.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack paired with a 800-volt electrical architecture (same as the Taycan), allowing it to charge at a rate of 270 kW using DC fast-chargers. Audi says you can expect up to 238 miles on a full charge.

Audi’s typical level of luxury, comfort, styling, technology and features can be found throughout the cabin and it's here that the e-tron GT and Taycan really set themselves apart. Here you get two digital displays, optional Nappa leather, mood lighting, heated and cooled seats with massage functions and many more.

Audi took a driver-centric approach with a 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit and 10.1-inch MMI touch displays that are angled towards the driver. These include the latest in connectivity that Audi has to offer. Unlike other Audi’s, physical buttons are used for the climate control system. A head-up display is optional.
