User login at startup, turning on the car.

Each time I enter the car, a message on the screen appears stating "Continue as Jonathan". Is there a way to have it default to and automatically log me in since I am the only user? Also, sometimes the car turns on without having to press the power button, sometimes by pressing the brake pedal, and other times only by pressing the button. What am I missing here? TIA

I think the car / key / phone / magic connection only checks whether you're there occasionally, and if it "just misses" checking you as you get in, you have to do it manually. It makes it feel kinda flaky when it happens, to be sure!
Appreciate your input. This happens every time I enter the car. Any idea how to fix this?

Animal sacrifice? Moon rites? (Or, in other words, no idea -- wish I did!)

I think it goes away by itself/continues eventually? I've also just gotten used to ignoring it, back out in reverse, camera comes on....after I'm done, put in drive, it's gone.

On my car it happens every, single, time. I have wondered the same as the OP but never posed the question just assumed it was a flaw in the software, since most repetitive questions give you the check box option to "don't ask me this again"
Sometimes on startup my car thinks I'm a guest and won't let me correct it. This is a worthless piece of code that Audi should do away with.

Same here. It's sad that Audi can't properly implement a feature that's been around for as long as it has. You would think that all car manufacturers would understand the importance of stable and useful software in a modern car. Don't get me wrong though, I understand that there will be bugs but it just feels like Audi is struggling with some of the basic stuff.
