I have a question to see whether anybody has played around with their ChargePoint Flex (or other chargers, for that matter) and used current limitation option. ChargePoint Flex seems to support the option to have the output amperage adjustable via mobile app to 16A, 24A, 32A, 40A, 48A, 50A. My utility charges me for very low load factor (ratio between maximum draw within 24 hour cycle and average load within the same cycle). I will need to play games with charging and artificially lowering charge rate (current) for night charging to avoid lowering my load factor below 10%. Looking at current utilization, I can likely pull 6kW overnight to stay within safe limit away from 10% load factor (LF). On weekends, when we run more machines within 24 hours, I can likely boost the charge rate or charge in parallel with other home stuff.
My home is rated for 200A draw max @ 110V, so I should be able to pull 50A @ 240V if it was not for the darn LF calculations.
