It auto holds ONLY if you have the adaptive cruise control on, and it has detected a car in front

There isn’t the function to have it auto hold when you press and release the foot brake. Unlike the etron SUV. Apparently it’s something to do with a different type of motor, and the way it does, or doesn’t play nicely with the required tech to do that. There was a thread about it on here about a year ago, but, I’ve just searched and can’t find it. Different motors, that was my take away!

I remember thinking that boy, that would be frustrating. And yep, it really is. There’s been a few times when I’ve stopped at lights, and taken my foot off the brake expecting it to auto hold, and then, it’s crept forward a little too quickly and close to the car in front

Ok. Interesting, and thanks for the heads up. Apparently the function is there. Automatically…… see attached from screen grab from user manual

Although, this definitely isn’t the behaviour I’m seeing from the car, having used the function on the SUV for the last three years. Will try it again tomorrow in the GT

Today my dealer called me. Saying that we need to move back the delivery because they found 2 scratches on the windshield when they cleaned the car. So now they have to changed the whole glass. Has anyone else had issues like this?

It's a bit hit and miss on mine, works more so on an incline having released initial brake pressure then reapplying it. When bringing the car to a halt on the level or on a decline though, it doesn't seem to want to auto hold...

Been trying it today. Have to take foot off brake after coming to a stop, then really give it some heft, way through normal braking pressure, but yes, seems to work……

Definitely not an intuitive movement though, and way way more severe pressure than in the etron SUV

hope you’re well by the way, @ricchester?

Glad it’s not just me that thought it was odd about releasing the brake then reapplying with more force 😁.

Surviving here thanks Steve. Second car order has fallen through due to the downturn in the EV used market. We were looking at another £17k to bridge the gap (so £21k extra on top of the £17k I’d put into my existing GT just to get the C&S Plus so couldn’t justify the March/April build.
Hope you’re all good too.

Sorry to hear that. Honestly though, don’t think you’re missing that much in reality of day to day lived experience. The pro seats are nice, sure, but the perforated seat leather is impossible to keep clean,- those holes are going to get filled with dust, dirt, crumbs (I’ve banned eating in the car!), and will be a nightmare to keep clean. !

Ah that makes me feel better! I'd been having a dilemma over CS/CS+, then wondering if I've made the right decision finally going for CS. Can see how biscuits etc would be a nightmare!

@Steve Derby Not sure if this has been answered elsewhere "Also, doesn’t have a ‘handbrake’ applied when you come to a stop, automatically, so automatically creeps", if when stopped in traffic or at lights etc. you can push down hard on the brake pedal and it should auto hold and put a Green Park icon on the cockpit dash, I have a standard GT with C&S Plus for info.

Thanks @chrisbarbers0, yes, been answered elsewhere now. And have got it working. Just strange the amount of force needed to activate it, compared to the SUV
Hope all well with you? Despite picking it up just before Christmas, I already have 4k on the clock !
