It auto holds ONLY if you have the adaptive cruise control on, and it has detected a car in front
There isn’t the function to have it auto hold when you press and release the foot brake. Unlike the etron SUV. Apparently it’s something to do with a different type of motor, and the way it does, or doesn’t play nicely with the required tech to do that. There was a thread about it on here about a year ago, but, I’ve just searched and can’t find it. Different motors, that was my take away!
I remember thinking that boy, that would be frustrating. And yep, it really is. There’s been a few times when I’ve stopped at lights, and taken my foot off the brake expecting it to auto hold, and then, it’s crept forward a little too quickly and close to the car in front
