Has anyone used the Carbonio no drill front license plate bracket? I've see posts about the bracket from Craven Speed, but the Carbonio.

Audi E-Tron GT No-Drill Front License Plate Mount 2020-2025

I called the manufacturer and asked if the plate interferes with sensors/camera. The answer was no to sensors but the bottom of the plate is just slightly visible in camera.

Colorado does ticket for not having a front plate, I know from experience
Velcro tape? That’s what ‘ve been using (front and rear) as Australia requires front plates…

Something that was quite astonishing, though, was that I drove the car nearly 2,000 km (1,250 miles) down from Gold Coast with permit only (no plates, digital permit to produce if required) and not a single police was interested in an RG GT without plates…

When needed (not often), I use the license plate holder that attaches to the tow hook behind the little door on the grill. Takes a min to install and uninstall, rock solid and harder to steal, no concerns about high wind speed or other weather popping it off. The brand escapes me right now, but found it via another set of threads in this forum. In Illinois, where a front plate is required, they will not pull you over only for the plate, they will only 'add it' if they desire, to another moving violation. In some areas, you need it if you are parking in a neighborhood but not at a pay-for-parking spot (if you are in a pay for parking spot, I suppose they could add the ticket if you let it expire, but never heard of that). Thus I rarely, if ever, put on the front plate. I keep it in the trunk just in case I need to mount it quickly or show it to an officer.

Absolutely love this and would do it, however as far as I can tell, it is not legal in Colorado which unfortunately seems to be recently obsessed with cracking down on license plate violations instead of tailgating and reckless/distracted driving.

I had a Vinyl plate made at a sign shop. They use reflective material and honestly unless you’re on top of it, you can’t tell it’s not an original plate. I just keep the original plate in the trunk in case I’m ever stopped. I don’t think you’ll ever have an issue but do whatever you’re most comfortable with.

Installed the Carbonio today. I like the look better without a plate, but not so much that I’m willing to risk a fine.
Straight install blocked about the top 25% of the front camera. So I tilted it the max at the Allen bolts, bent the frame to get the right tension at the top bumpers, and that reduced the camera view

of the back of the plate to about 10% or 15%. I’m going to drive it like this for awhile. If I don’t like it, I’ll either grind the frame slightly to get more tilt at the allen bolts or drill new holes in the frame and move the plate up. I checked various heights and It only needs to go up another 1/2” or 3/4” to clear the camera view completely.

I finished my project this weekend and I think the results are great. It takes about 10 seconds to put on or remove and doesn't block the camera. The only thing still attached to the car when the plate is removed are small mounting plates. If anyone is interested here are the items I purchased a link to the 3D files. I printed the parts with ASA. I would not print this out of PLA.
