Hello!

We had a tire blowout on the freeway in early May. We had the car towed to the dealership and had 4 new tires put on, plus a $600+ calibration.

Later that day, 2 errors popped up on the dash (but not in the app) - Pre-sense/Adaptive Cruise Control Not Available warnings so we brought it in and got it fixed but it was back within 24 hours. Again, we brought it in (yesterday) and got it back later in the day. Today, after 1 drive, the errors are back again.

The first time it was "fixed" at the dealership they "found a fault for the distance regulation, adjustment incorrect. Calibrated ... no longer there".

The second time they found fault C110300 - "ACC sensor misadjusted". They adjusted and tested and the issue was gone.

So I see this issue a lot in these forums but rarely do I see an actual resolution. This will be our 4th-time back in the service center and while right now it's covered under warranty, that's running out fast.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I don't have an answer to your specific issue, sorry... just curious about your statement about the warranty....

If you bring your car in while its under warranty for a problem and they fail to fix it while it was under warranty, if the warranty expires while they are still trying to fix it, they can say "this problem is not under warranty!" The pre-existing, not resolved and identified issue/problem while under warranty, doesn't stay under warranty until fixed?

So, I figured I'd update this and keep forgetting.

We had the issue three times (Pre-sense/Adaptive Cruise Control Not Available warnings after a tire change) and each time it would "fix" for 1 day, then reoccur.

Turns out, the dealership calibration machine was out of calibration. Once they fixed their machine, it was fixed and hasn't reoccurred.

I hope that helps someone.
