Problem with MMI

Hi,

So I keep losing the MMI inside the car intermittently for a couple of days and I therefore have no access to radio, phone or sat nav.

Took into Audi dealership Bristol UK - They have informed me Audi are aware of the fault and working on it but nothing they can do. I am a key worker and drive daily and have no sat Nav - any idea how long this has been going on for and how long it should take for Audi to identify a fix?

Hi,

As an alternative you could run the sat nav via google maps on Apple Car play until this is fixed?

If you connect your phone to the car make sure Wi-Fi and blue tooth are enabled on your phone first. On the MMI go to add telephone, once connected it should prompt you to ask if you want to use Apple Car Play. Once connected on the main screen Apple Car Play should be visible. On here you should then find google maps.

Thanks but the mmi is not working to connect to it doesn’t get past the logging in screen

When this happens, have you tried rebooting the MMI? You do this by pressing down on the Volume knob for several seconds until the screen responds.

Did anyone get anywhere with this? I am having the same problem and Audi are saying over a month to even do diagnostics…

Same problem 1 m ago.. solved with a reset by volume knob for 20 seconds.. but nothing else since now..
