I woke up this am to my Driver Display being in German. Language is set to English, central display is in English, so is the passenger display. Have reset MMI but did not correct.

Any ideas?

if you have reboot the MMI I would let the car go into a deep sleep. Don’t charge or anything and see what happens after 2 hours. I’ve found that sometimes just leaving the car to settle after a reboot can sometimes help.

You need to double click the lock button. If that’s doesn’t work try the MMI reboot. If that fails it’s a workshop visit.

You need to log it with the dealership it maybe a case they just need to pull the fuses and reset the car, Audi Digital bored on being pointless!

If they ask you to leave the car, make sure you get a courtesy car incase the car has an extended stay in the workshop.

Anyone else having issues with Audi Charging Card/Account? I would advise people who use their card to check payment method. It seems that after the recent app/MMI update there's an issue with my account... Grrrrrr

Update on German dashboard- by fluke I picked up my wife’s key fob instead of mine. Her profile came up and it was in English. I changed over to my profile and it also had reverted to English- all traces of German language gone🎉

Lesson- if your dashboard changes language on its own accord- resetting the MMI or putting the car into deep sleep is not the answer. Use another profile and then revert to yours.

mine has been fine today well I manged to pre condition before I got in this morning.

My issues are now all with apple car play. I can not only connect my phone by hard cable and despite it being set as the preference every time it connects to my wifes phone as the main.

Also as noted before I cant get car play to display in any form on the HUB and I also can no longer run both sat navs.

Comfort access though seems to be working as it should finally.

the wind changed direction! Now I’m getting errors when it’s trying to charge but it is charging.

Just tried charing at an Ionity, first of all Plug&Charge has stopped working (had worked twice at this station previously) and no mention of Plug & Charge in the App anymore.

After setting a destination on the planner and driving for over two hours put the battery at 22°, previously preconditioning was showing the battery at around 35-45° max charging speed was 160kw on a 350kw charger.

When I plugged into the home charger last night, it was making a noise I haven't heard before. Plus it was saying 1d 8 hours for a 30kw charge..

Handshakes on AC/DC Both send errors to dash and app.

Despite having the update I never got this to work and always got the error message on the licence bit.

Sorry you’re having even more of a nightmare on charging. It’s madness that even some of the best features of the car are now no longer present.

I think the fact they removed plug and charge and all the OTA is them messing around with it all backend. Its a bit worrying that they are removing all the Connected features and access from the My.Audi.Com and will only have access via the App that has more connectivity issues than any other app on my phone.

They have deployed the resources in the wrong things, they should have a user focus group lol

They have pulled it, the reason why it wasn’t working lol. If you look on your key user list on the app, you’ll see they have removed it and all text about it.

It’s been a week so far and I had no updates except for one on Friday where they said that they’re in touch with the factory in Germany and that they’ve been told to hold tight until someone from the factory gets back to them :/

Sorry to hear that, I suspect that they have several mitigating activities going on. Sorting the app, the software and the cars with let’s say poor quality control units. Unless they fix all three they will really never know the real cause of issues.

His car as been with the workshop for 4 weeks, with little to no update. Several issues, then diagnostics sent to Germany. Now awaiting a new control unit and software update.

There are many across different forums all with issues requiring assistance from Germany.
