I think you are correct. Development for Q6 was completed long ago. Bug fixes will happen if we are lucky but product platform refreshes are more likely. They want us to buy new vehicles to get the latest features.
I agree also, to the point my other half has pushed us to purchase a new a Tesla Model Y and refuses to drive the SQ6. The cardiac arrest feature just freaks them out lol. I’ve sort of got used to it

Curious how you are making out with your Tesla Y. It must be a bit of a culture shock going from an Audi interior to the spartan Tesla interior. While the software may be better the availability of timely repair and parts availability have proven to be an issue for many. I hope your experience has been positive.

It is a tale of two halves, But Tesla have made some big improvements to previous models. In the past I wouldn't haven even thought of sitting in one, never mind having one on the drive.

But that said, all windows have acoustic glass and they have made big leaps to try and make the car quieter (maybe something Audi may look at moving forward). Alcantara interior, and the suspension isn't bad but still not great. And I find the seats more comfortable in the SQ6.

Is it as snappy as the SQ6? No, but it's fast and a lot more comfortable than its previous models. The software is where as we expected it shines, in the words Steve Jobs... it just works lol Still no Apple CarPlay.

No HUD and no driver display just makes me nervous, I am sure if it was my car and driving it everyday I would get used to it.

Performance and range, it puts the SQ6 in second place.

Bump! Any news about timeline and/or changelog for the new version?
From what I have seen and heard, not even the testers have a change log, but we can live in hope.

I am told that whilst there have been some improvements, it doesn't address everyone's issues and infact may even cause some new ones! I suppose this could be classed as normal behaviour for new software?

I have also heard week 40, but I also heard week 43, but then I was also told week 28! It will come when its ready, and lets hope they have resolved the previous issues when updating the car.

Last night in the appI got a notified of Field Campaign 06XM to update the software. This is, sadly, the campaign and software version released in November of last year. Way to play with my emotions, Audi

When we bought our Q6 the dealer made a big deal of "over-the-air software updates just like Tesla." That was back in February. Now it's June and our software is still 3.01.00/C. So, yes, it's capable of over-the-air software updates, but there aren't actually any updates... anybody want to make a prediction for when we might see an update? :)
Seems like a lot of us are waiting for an update especially to get car play working. The dealership said by end of July and it’s now September with no updates. Frustrating
