Thanks Rob - and that takes into account your ECS membership, credit of £150 and the much cheaper rate?

 

The other way to start the charge is to scan the rfid card against the machine. It should work seamlessly, starting the charge and billing your Audi account. A bit easier than using an app, but the app route may be more 'robust' for a first time attempt!

 

This is how I was anticipating it to work - but I just wanted to check I dont have to register the etron RFID card with Ionity and that that process has already been done by the fact I have registered it on the etron charging service - ie Audi have updated ALL the partners with this RFID card so I can just use this etron card only at several chargers (the Ionity being my first attempt to charge on their card).

Exactly the service/subscription takes care of all the partners. All being well just turn up and scan your RFID card and charge up!

Haha I know right. I'm having solar panels fitted this week and the weather is dire 😅
