I have registered the etron RFID card on the etron charging services website to my account and applied the £150 voucher.

Do I need to register it on Ionity's website at all or does the fact that I have registered with ecs website mean that when I use the RFID card on an Ionity charger it will recognise it and let me have it at the 28p / kWh price not the 70p kWh and use my credit?

Off to Devon tomorrow and planning on charging at the Ionity chargers at Cullompton Services and as I will be with father in law, who is sceptical about all electric cars, I want to show him how simple it can be and easy to use....so fingers crossed.

Hi, i just use the audi app and the 'enable charge station' button (which then asks you to scan the QR code on the Ionity charger.)

It has worked perfectly every time for me!
Thanks Rob - and that takes into account your ECS membership, credit of £150 and the much cheaper rate?

This is how I was anticipating it to work - but I just wanted to check I dont have to register the etron RFID card with Ionity and that that process has already been done by the fact I have registered it on the etron charging service - ie Audi have updated ALL the partners with this RFID card so I can just use this etron card only at several chargers (the Ionity being my first attempt to charge on their card).

@RobT23 - thanks for your responses.
