my car has 400 miles. First it wouldn’t charge. Kept saying it was parked safely. It was in the garage. Flat. All windows and doors locked. That repair took 2 weeks. ALWAYS ask for loaner. It’s part of your warranty. A few days after the repair, the entire system died. Had to be towed on a flat bed to the dealer. Got a loaner after some dialog. ;-). Was told it’s two weeks on this repair. Different part. speed warning has to be turned off every time I start the car. that’s the magic three. It’s a no. It needs to be replaced with another car. They’re being cool about it. Lemon law applies.

I had the following TSB installed on my 2024 Q4 Etron by my dealer in Sept and its working fine now. When I turn off the traffic sign speed warning it stays off until I reactivate it - which is never. Found it on AudiWorld. TSB 20733711. Sorry I cant help you with your other issues.

Hi All,

This is our first Audi and I cannot comprehend how there can be so many technical issues in a state-of-the-art Audi automobile. Yet here we are.

1. CarPlay works, then it doesn’t.
2. The beeping for going over the speed limit comes back on no matter how many times we turn it off.
3. The radio defaults back to FM no matter how many times we leave it on Sirius (“Lithium” or “Deep Tracks” for anyone who’s interested).
4. CarPlay icon deletes itself from the shortcuts along the left side of the display.
5. At least 4-5 other anomalies I won’t bother listing.

How the heck can Audi lease a car with known issues like this? I want to bring the car to the dealer tomorrow morning and tell them we need a loaner, and not to call us until they update the software and prove to us that the car will no longer behave this way.

Any insights or suggestions would be great. This is why I stuck with Lexus for ten years and before that Acura for so many years.

We’re in the same boat with a new car that has 650 miles on it and has been back to Audi twice and they say the same thing every time. Then they proceed to say this major software pack won’t be released till 1st quarter 2026. We feel cheated and ripped off and now considering Colorados “Lemmon” law as a means of getting resolution and or compensated. So disappointed with Audi and its lack of transparency with the q4 eTron..

What’s it doing?

Well ours is going into master caution mode with the battery lit up as well as full brain loss at every “key turn” as they call it. We get the message on the screen that some electrical functions may not operate which leaves us to wonder, what functions won’t be working and when will the car just decide to stop driving. So it’s at Audi as we speak and they have to charge the 12v battery as it’s reading low and thus causing some brain issues. Again this car only has 680 miles on it and once again we have to reprogram everything right down to the My Audi app.. what things have you experienced?

I’ve been fortunate (2022 e-tron 30k miles) no issues other than presets disappear every couple of months. Low voltage off that 12v battery would probably cause all sorts of problems, maybe a fully charged battery will resolve it!

Three issues and it’s lemon law ready. My dealership is already preparing for me just in case. They also gave me one month of payment back. In addition to the loaner. So I’m pretty happy with them. Audi itself is the problem, not the dealership in my case.

We've had the same issues and ours is back in the shop and they've gone through and done some updates and recharged the 12v battery. My favorite thing they tell me is that there is a LARGE update coming in the 1st quarter of 2026 from Audi. I scratch my head and think "huh"? Why would Audi put out a new car, lease them, and then not have a functional computer running these cars.

We're going to pick our car up tomorrow and I will try it once again, but if it goes back in a third time, we're going to start the LEMMON LAW we have here in Colorado. No way they can lease these cars with known issues and not disclose updates need, but not yet released by Audi.

Our new Genesis GV70 Electrified has been nothing but amazing to say the least.

This will be our last Audi!
