Why should I pay Audi's prices for the first service of my Q6? Can I get it serviced for less elsewhere?
I might be the odd one here, but I wouldn't buy a used EV with skipped scheduled maintenance and w/o a full service history. Especially during the warranty period. And with the EV, it is more important to have a FSH than an ICE car.Skipping these will not affect your warranty in the US.
I'm speaking specifically about the first service, which is what this topic was about. At least for the US 1st scheduled service, that's not a real service.I might be the odd one here, but I wouldn't buy a used EV with skipped scheduled maintenance and full service history. You just proved how cheap some of the members are when it comes to servicing their cars at the Audi dealer. I understand that, outside the warranty period, one wants to take it to one's own trusted mechanic or DIY. But for a brand-new vehicle still under a 3-year 60k miles warranty 🤷‍♂️🤦Makes me chuckle, though, that we're all driving around in expensive cars and quibbling over an extra couple of hundred pounds at the most every two years for a service.
I don’t know if that’s the reason. It could be they feel so violated by the vehicle and the dealer that they don’t want their dealer to get another cent, penny or centavo out of their hands. You just proved how cheap some of the members are when it comes to servicing their cars at the Audi dealer.
